The thing this video doesn't show is that the applause for this easily went on for 3-5 minutes after this stopped. Every time they thought the applause was going to stop, it erupted again. It was a masterful performance!
Great arrangement sung Amazingly. originally sung by Bernadette Peters and Robert Preston in 1975's Mack and Mabel. It was written by Jerry Herman - also known for a small musical called Hello Dolly.
I am in awe of all of Instant Classic and how they tell a story, Theo lives the lyric and the others bring their own experiences to make the song come alive. This song gets to me every time. Thank you, Instant Classic! Take a chance and send her the roses.
Well, Theo and Kyle are married and Kohl and David both have girlfriends, so I guess it's not really taking a chance sending roses to their girls, assuming they've been dethorned lol Also I realize this comment is 2 years old... ah, what on Earth am I doing with my life? Oh wait, I don't have one... well, at least I have music.
Kohl is so emotional in this it's awesome! Theo delivering a master class on Performance... These champs deliver!!! That sound though!!!!!!!! ***LOVE***
It wouldn't really be tasteful to overdo the hand gestures or anything. I think the subtlety of their expressions matches the pained and aching (but not overly blatant) tone that they're going for.
Also, if you want to see something with some flair and upbeatness (is that a word? It wasn't, but it is now) by Instant Classic, check out their 'Route 66/Take the A Train' medley and 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love.'
"Some dudes from Indiana sent me roses"
*"They finally sent them"*

Kyle is so good in this performance. He's just so solid, this performance of his stacks up against the best basses out there right now.
The way they executed the "just turn and go" swipe was flawless, and different than I've ever heard it before.
Totally agree! I'm almost as impressed by them as I am the audience for being as silent as they were for the entirety of the pause!
We were balling our eyes out!!! Applause not forthcoming easily until we composed ourselves!
... "balling"? you use a melon baller for that? ice cream scoop?
*bawling
im actually crying WHY THEO WHY JUST SEND THE ROSES

I can’t figure out why this doesn’t have over a million views.
I clap every time I listen to this song at "Just turn and go..." @ 3:10. So good!

I saw them perform this at HU. I used up 4 Kleenex. They are amazing.
Wasn't expecting to cry this morning
WildZangoose Jesus it's ridiculous! The chord @3:09 did it for me.
@@WilliamAiken For everyone of us buddy, for everyone of us
HOLY HELL THAT WAS FLAWLESS I LOVE IT
Awesome!
Bravissimo, gentlemen! The nuanced texture in arrangement and masterful treatment in performance of this tune are raising the bar for our art form.
What a great song!
That chord at 3:09. Leonard Cohen had it right, there is a sacred chord.
Fantastic !! 👍👍
Thanks Gentlemen!
I would love to have lyrics on these songs, because I miss many of the words sung...
If I do that, I'm going to have to listen to this again, which means I'm going to cry again.

"...just turn and goooo..."
Visceral pain, why is my face wet?
Very rude of you guys, making me feel actual human emotions today.
Knock knock.
-who's there?
-Instant Classic.
-Instant Classic who?
Wybu RP Exactly!
They need to be more known, they're amazing.
I am more an upbeat-song kind of girl, but sometimes you just gotta go for a good ballad
Bioshock infine!
oh the overtones
3:15 S#!t!
This is the most stereotypical barbershop quartet I've ever seen.
Zero stage presence.

what do you want them to do? dance around like clowns? go fuck yourself.
I turn up the bass and use my subwoofer as a vibrator to this
Ayooo wha? 🤨
