Thank you Pavlin. This made my day. Nothing like a little friendly battle. I should have tagged you in my video i realize. Great respect from your Swedish backyard adventurer. Let’s have a 🍺.
A favorite quote from General Dwight D. Eisenhower: "Plans are worthless but planning is essential" Of course he is referring to battle. Kind of light Mike Tyson: "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face". Ok, so do I plan? Absolutely! I love planning and on long trips, given the range between gas stations in the Western part of the USA, I plan my stops. Do I always hit my plan/stops? No, but.....planning is essential! Thank you sir as always!
Agree completely. I love to plan my trips. I can spend weeks figuring out where I will go, which just adds to the fun. And I avoid trouble, like two roads on my upcoming trip that won't be open yet when I intended to take them. Had to change plans.
Hello Pavlin, I'm a recent subscriber to your 3 channels and let me thank you for all the knowledge you share with the rest of us. I personally learn something new from each video of yours, I'm just a beginner you see. I like your "down to Earth" style and I agree with your advices. Again thank you for what you do, safe travels! Ciao from Italy
I watch and enjoy both your channels. I think you are both saying similar things about planning - but in different ways. You both have "goals" for your trips, and choose things to see and places to visit on the way there and back. What you both don't make are "rigid plans" You have flexibility and contingencies in case you want to, or are forced to make changes. Racing to a ferry or hotel after delays or breakdowns just adds stress, and spoils the fun.
Nomad Swede does what me and my riding buddies do, we stay off all major highways and freeways, take all county roads and or back roads etc, we get together and pick an area and then head out, we figure out stops for food and or gas accordingly, we always always always fill up with fuel before we leave. It's great because we have ended up at amazing places. That's the best part of riding, get on, go, and get lost.
Yeah we do that to! sometimes you have some kind of end goal but otherwise i'ts better to go with flow/weather to some extent but we don't stay at the same place more than one night with some exceptions.. I'm curios what kind of percentage of the viewers even considers to go on these very long trips (or have the time). I wonder if it would be beneficial to the channelviews to make content more aimed at the average tourist and not the hardcore adventurer. It must be very few that is going on a 12 week 30000km trip.
Simple life helps as well. Go see do. Enjoy the ride. Everyday is a Saturday. I'm a motorcyclist. Live it, practice it, do it. Insatianable desire to twist the grip and spin the tire. Like watvhing a movie. Want to see more twist the grip. Good points Pavlin. Spring is here. Finally
The only disapointing part after i completed Pavlin course is that i know what Pavlin is going to explain in each new episode.😢😢😢😢 Worth every penny but what i am going to watch now? 🤔😁
Well done. But seriously - did you ever hear about, or know, anyone, who travels to remote, unknown places WITHOUT a plan ??!!?? - because to do this, one MUST - be, either a super-human ( literally ), or suffer from a severe mental condition. In any of these cases, they will not be convinced by your explanation 🤷♂ : A 🤪👈 person - is not capable to understand why to plan....., and the super-human, simply doesn't need to .... ☝☝😀
Technically you fly there, wander around the city asking people where there are rental motorcycles, pick one you fancy, then start riding randomly just to explore.

Well said!
@nomadsweden Robert and you need to do a trip together, and livestream it
Not for me!

We learn during our whole life...
When you are coming back to india?
Good question?
I think it’s a question of semantics. In Sweden ‘a plan’ is quite….detailed, shall we say.
True!
You and Robert need to do some videos or live streams together. It could be some great interviews and travel stories.
Maybe one day!
1:31 and I'm lmao 🤣🤣🤣 > I'm gonna grab TWO of my favourite drinks now: One for each of you ✌️👏👏
Thanks, man!

I have heard many, but I did not believe in any!

Don't ride a Harley with a stereo.
Fair enough!
Sorry, ... but another one🤭: Traveller vs. "country collectors" 🤫🫢🫣
Cool!
