I'm using stock valve sizes, but replaced them with the stainless Manley street flow valves that are necked down quite a bit. All I've done is clean up all the sharp edges and smoothed the big hump in the exhaust port, also used the comp cams cutter to install dual valve springs and a smaller .531 valve stem seal. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the video. I just pulled the p heads on my car and started porting them. These videos have really helped me I probably would have hit the water jacket if I didn't see them. Hopefully it turns out well

Ive gotta get my car going for dyno day to see if I can kick the rollers through the wall with all of the power this thing is going to lay down 🤣😂 probably a rod knowing my luck 🤣😂 I got to finish sanding my intake trying to get the burr marks sanded out and put my heads together and I can build my short block again then get it dropped back in and put it back together again so hopefully this 2nd 1st fire will go better than the first time and not be dripping water on the ground again 🤞🏼 i sure hope that the repair holds up. I got head studs instead of bolts this go around trying not to stress the repair because it runs through the head bolt boss above the oil filter

Very nice port work and good information. 🎩
Awesome video David. Cutting the gt40 head to get a better idea of port depths is genius.
