What was the price for the retractable screen system? I’m looking to almost do the exact same setup in my garage, but trying to keep the price to a minimum.
Thanks. Bought it off a guy that advertises on golfsimulatorforum.com. His email is fabric@worldmarkettrading.com and can give you prices. The material is VERY thick and I'm pleased so far.
@@3xaagolfer304 I mean the netting or mesh you are using for the ceiling space. I believe you wrote custom sewn but didn’t know if you did yourself or not?
Sorry about that...... I used a Harbor Freight moving blanket and did some cutting and sewing to it. A couple people have popped it up and it doesn't hold up that well so one day I'll redo it with something heavier. It's fine for now though. Sides are photography backdrops that I got off Amazon. Hope that helps.
@@3xaagolfer304 no problem and thanks for the response! The only thing I don’t have figured out is my ceiling protection so was looking for ideas and yours looked well put together. Thanks for the help!
All the time. The mat is just narrower than the wheels on my truck so I drive right over it. If it's been snowing, I pull the mat up and lay it against the wall.
@@3xaagolfer304 Interesting. Are you referencing just the hitting portion of the mat? I assume you still drive over the part of the mat that’s right next to the garage door itself? Also, are you every worried about balls going between the screen and the side panels that come down? Or is there some mechanism to “zip” those parts together to prevent balls from going through the gaps?
@@TheEugenelee13 if you shank it, they will go through. I put up some cardboard to deflects anything after I was trying to alter my swing and one got through and hit my garbage can. I've been contemplating sewing in some velcro........ I drive over both the hitting mat and the carpet (I put down nicer stuff now that I can putt on). In the winter I'll put the mat up against the wall because it will get wet from snow/slush. Not worried about the carpet because once it dries I can vacuum everything up, plus I have a carpet cleaner if it gets real bad.
The screen is not from METech but another place. I think I put it in the other comments so hopefully it's there. It came raw and I had to sew the ends but it's held up fantastic so far. Impact is not exactly quiet, but far less of a boom than any other that I've seen.
Did the motor on yours come with a plug or was it just three wires? Mine showed up with a brown, blue and green gound wire. I wired it to an extension cord with no luck in getting it to power up. Did you have any trouble with yours at first?
Mine came the same way, and no issues when I wired up a plug end. Not being a smart-ass, but did you put the batteries in the remote correctly and pair it to the unit?
How did you connect the main motor to the side impact screen rollers? Thank you...

Seriously very nice! 🔥😎. Where you buy that golf screen setup? Love it

Hello, what backdrop did you use for the side and top? Also was it easy to hook up to MeTech?
Can you explain the ceiling protection? I’m looking for a solution to a similar build. Thanks!

Did the guy who provided the screen also provide the motorized rolls too?
No, the motor came from Metech. All 3 run off 1 motor.
@@3xaagolfer304 Can you provide a link? Not finding anything on Google.
Link to what?

Do you ever park your car in there? If so, what do you do with the mats? Thx!

I’m getting ready to order that same screen from METech, which screen material did you go with and is it loud when the ball makes contact?

Hey where do you buy that screen from
