Not kidding you are literally my fav UA-camr. Probably because i am also in college and also a gym rat and also book obsessed and also with a part time job but like i actually binged all your videos. You are extremely cool and such a vibe.
I re-read The Picture of Dorian Gray recently and it definitely has the perfect dark academia autumn vibes. They actually have an uncensored version of the original manuscript now available at Barnes and Noble!! There's not huge differences compared to the common versions, but there's also an addition with the history of the novel and Oscar Wilde's impact that really helps contextualize the novel. Definitely would recommend!!
Practical Magic was published first (and it actually takes place in the summer, so heads up for that)! The Rules of Magic was published next, and then Magic Lessons and The Book if Magic. But the chronological order would be Magic Lessons, The Rules od Magic, Practical Magic, and The Book of Magic. ✨
@@sunnykimreads each book is about a different generation, so it doesn't 100% matter! I'd go with publication order but Alice Hoffman says you can do either!
I'm planning to read 11/22/63 in November cos it just makes sense to me lmao but you should totally do that as a book club reading for November! Also, The Shining was a great read!! Def recommend
Hey Sunny! I just finished reading The Boy Who Steals Houses and let me tell u I SOBBED SO HARD. Such an amazing book, the emotions and descriptions were so raw I could physically feel it. Anyways just wanted to say thanks for all the recommendations vids 💕💕😋
I should also recommend "the cruel prince" series for the fall as well because its so whimsical and fantastical and batshit crazy (I'm reading it for the first time rn and I am obsessed)
Great recs. I read dorian grey last fall and planning rebecca reread for this year aswell as finishing wuthering heights and reading ethan frome as my seasonal classics this year. I have IT and want to read it in october but im so scared. Im such a scaredy cat 😂 I have book one of practical magic for october think its the aunts story. I have a huge fall tbr starting with cozy reads sprinkled with crime then in to witchy reads sprinkled with fantasy and crime then finally in to winter reads ready for my holiday reading. Its literaly my favourite reading time of year. Cozying up with a blanket and a hot drink. Enjoy. X
i’m not much of a classics reader but I really enjoyed The Picture of Dorian Gray! I think I gave it 4 stars. i don’t want to give too much away but it has very cozy, rainy vibes and one of my fav fictional tropes
Loveddddd your recs!!❤ have you ever read the Sarah j maas universe? I’m almost done with throne of glass and it’s definitely one of my all time Favorites!!!! It’s so well thought and the main character is the most perfect anti hero ever - I highly recommend (if you haven’t read it😂❣️)
lol yeah Masters of Death was super confusing to me and I didn't like it as much as the others but in general I love Olivie Blake's writing for the vibes and characters!! I also really love Alone With You in the Ether by her. It's really all character interaction.
I've been eyeing Practice Magic for sooo long, might have to finally add it to the fall list. Also, did you see that M.L. Rio is coming out with a new book this fall?? I feel like it fits the fall/spooky vibes perfectly
@@sunnykimreads that’s the order the events happen in, so I’d say so! Practical magic was written first, but Magic lesson and The rules of magic are prequels, so it makes more sense to read them that way. (Unfortunately, magic lessons has a bad case of prequel syndrome😔)

mainstream stuff about self-improvement are so overrated. The best investment you can make is in yourself. Books are the ultimate learning tool. Reading Magnetic Aura from Borlest helped me build attraction and charisma better than 90% of people
You have to read Little Women the first part is great but the second part which was republished as two separate books (little women and good wives) is pretty boring so I would suggest audiobooking the second part
SUNNY GIRLIE I NEED HELP i wanna get an e reader like kindle or smth but im a 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️girlie #brokecollegestudent do u know if i can download epubs for free on kindle? youre the only booktuber i trust to ask this question to😭😭
heyy, kindle girlie here ✋🏽you can send epub files to the kindle (sometimes it might not work because of the file size) but like 90% of the time you can send files to ur kindle! hope this helped 🎀🎀🎀
