This track explores the themes of fear, longing, and the struggle to break free from one's limitations. In the verses, the lyrics depict a sense of being trapped within an hourglass, metaphorically representing the passage of time and the feeling of being confined in a restrictive situation. The voices in the void symbolize the internal conflicts and doubts that arise when facing uncertainty. The artist seeks solace, longing to be embraced and protected from the overwhelming darkness that surrounds them.
"I knоw where І wanna go but you know that it’s toо close and уou know thаt it’s toо late this timе" is a line from their song 'Jaded.' This EP is basically one song. The Crimson key is mentioned throughout as well.
This EP has 3 songs without any screams, this, The Void, and Ultraviolet. Then the mix scream & clean song Jaded. Then all screams on Cellar Door and Angel Eyes.
Mike is gonna love this one. He’ll probably also like Ultraviolet. Ultraviolet was shot in one continuous shot by my friend Dylan, and it was a super challenging and fun one for him. He also directed a few of their older videos, including Constance, Blessed Be, and Hurt You.
I don’t know this band, but I’m with Mike, I really enjoyed the drums. Her voice was great too, but I will have to go watch it maybe with subtitles on so I’ll be able to make out all of her words, and to see the video 😂 these old eyes just ain’t what they used to be. G, I like your glasses, they look great on you. You two are already a handsome couple anyway though. 👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
One of the things I love so much about this band is their ability to make something sound so dark but also make it feel uplifting in a way.

Wow what a song. It's really a shame this isn't on the radio or being recognized. It's special.
Love everything spiritbox does

Each song leads onto the next, into a loop at the end and beginning. Xx
