Meteora Monasteries Greece Athens Holiday Kalambaka Vacation Orthodox

Bruce and myself visit the breathtaking Meteora Monasteries located near the picturesque town of Kalambaka & Kastraki in Greece. The 4 hour train trip from Athens is definitely worth it to see the wonderous Monasteries on the top of large rocks.

Hi there, the hotel we stayed at in the heart of Athens and the tourist Plaka area was the Plaka Hotel

The tour company we used at Meteora was meteora.com/ (Meteora Thrones Travel)
and you would have to look up Athens Trains, because they can be a bit different depending on time of year etc. Hope you have fun on your trip :)

Hi there, thanks for your compliment. We booked the tour for Meteora over the internet. There are a few companies that do different tours. The tour company we used at Meteora was meteora.com/ (Meteora Thrones Travel) Cheers, and have a great time if you go there :)
