Is The Peppermill Las Vegas one of the best Las Vegas steakhouses? Officially known as The Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge, this classic Las Vegas diner is located directly across from Resorts World Las Vegas on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant is often acclaimed as one of the best places to eat in Las Vegas, due to its extensive late night menu and iconic status as a legendary hangout for celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. The menu is famed for its breakfast foods like the Maserati Omelet and French Toast Ambrosia, but on this visit we were craving steak. We ordered the New York Steak and Fettuccine ($47), the Ribeye Steak ($44), and a Strawberry Daiquiri ($15). Other popular steakhouses in Las Vegas for those seeking old-fashioned Vegas deals include Outback Steakhouse, Ruth's Chris Steak House, and Texas Roadhouse.

Glad to see the both of you...really missed seeing your videos! Catherine looks absolutely stunning in her beautiful red dress. I find that Ribeye Steaks are more tender than New York Cuts. Ribeyes are our family favorite. When I saw Derek's steak, I thought it was kinda thin. I know prices are ridiculously high these days, but I'd prefer a thicker cut when it comes to steak. Don't wait so long between videos...we really missed you! 😊

Derek, you can never go wrong with the rib-eye. That is my favorite steak especially the bone in rib-eye. Great video, out of all my years of going to Las Vegas I have never been to the Peppermill. I will give it a try next time I’m there. 👍😊

I think you would agree, the price point at the Peppermill compared with other LV steak house is a good $40 to $60 less based on what you ordered. The sides at the Peppermill comes with the steak vs separate priced sides that, based on your comments, are superior at steak houses. Thanks for the video
Both steaks looked surprisingly good. I'm a medium rare ribeye guy myself, that being said, Derek's steak was a bit too thin but Catherine's strip was right on the money. The mushrooms looked delicious with Catherine's sides left a bit to be desired. All in all considering the ambience like you mentioned, it's a tad bit overpriced but it is Vegas. I went to the Golden Steer because of the history and vibe and it was considerably more expensive but well worth the price.
The price is high for a place like Peppermill. I consider them a good place for lunch. However the steaks looked good. I'd be all over the Ceasar Salad and Catherine's NY steak. I can do chewy as long as it wasn't outright tough. Good to see you both again and the lunch was fun. Let's do it again soon. 😊

We ate at the Pepper Mill many years ago and I remember we were so full and happy with our food Catherine your drink looked so wonderful and Derek, I love Ribeye steak that is my favorite steak and I love mushrooms, thanks for sharing this Diner with us❤

On the strip my cost for a steak dinner is about $150+. Always go to the Peppermill when in Vegas and the tab is less than $85 so well worth the cab ride. Love the ambience too. Miss the old Vegas with $5 buffets and cheap steak. Don't get me started on the room price. Are you in LA or Vegas? Thanks enjoyed.

Both steak dishes looked great and am glad they tasted great also! Catherine's steak is how I like it (thick) and Derrick's steak, although thin, looks perfectly medium and juicy! I've got to find my way into Peppermill's one day. Thank you both for the wonderful review as always!

2019, that Peppermill omelet was $15. That menu now shows $23. Inflation should put that omelet at a bit under $18. Vegas has definitely jumped the shark. This is the Peppermill.
Not just Vegas, my local (New York) McDonald’s medium fries was $2.49 or $2.79 pre-COVID and $3.49 now

You are absolutely right, but it's not just the mill - MGM properties are through the roof with their prices. A 15.99 2 egg breakfast in 2018 was 24.00 in 2023. It's ridiculous

Yummy mm...Derek's steak looked great. Just how I like mine cooked. The mashed potatoes looked good too. Catherine's daiquiri looked so refreshing but her steak was too rare for me.😮

I lived in Vegas from 1997-2019. I can't tell you how many times I've driven by this restaurant and NEVER have eaten there. Always wanted to. I guess it wasn't written in the stars. Big regret! Looks yummy! Comfort food! Such pretty decor too! 😊😊

My first time to the Peppermill was in 1985. Went back 3 or 4 dozen times over the years.
I’ve always wanted to do Peppermill. And I’ve been to Vegas 50 times since 1979. This convinced me to try it.
Both steaks looked great!!🥩🥩👍👍You can even have steak and eggs🥩🥩🍳🍳 for breakfast with the leftovers! It looks like a great place to stop by and eat, if you're on- the- go! Thanks for sharing, guys!!🤗💕💕

You two are so good looking all dressed up and out at Peppermill! Both steaks cooked perfect, the sides look really good also. Not sure about the decor in that restaurant though, lol.

I love the Peppermill ! Eat there on every trip I make to Vegas . Biscuit & Gravy with 2 Scrambled eggs for breakfast. 2 Gyros with Potato Salad if Lunch or Dinner . Maybe I'll try something new in November . I always get great service !

I like going to Peppermill. I'm not sure if I would get a steak from there with so many steakhouses in town but the breakfast is good. The nachos are a ridiculous size though. Even between 4 of us we only managed about half of them.
