- If Charlie Veron is the Godfather of Corals, Julian Sprung is certainly the undisputed godfather of our hobby. This man is single handedly responsible for many great advancement and innovations in our hobby and has spent numerous years advocating for our hobby. As founder of Two Little Fishies, he has made various products that were first of it's kind to the market and this is one of them. Revive, first of it's kind released by Julian back in early 2000s, has saved countless corals and heartaches for many hobbyists. Come and sit with me as I talk to Julian on how to use this, why you should dip your corals, learn many various applications for this item (that you had no idea prior to this) and some behind the scene stories to this wildly popular coral dip.
Enjoy. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Thanks for this, I have a bottle of Revive at home and I'm going to start using it!
Inappropriate Reefer do it!!!!!! :)
Essential oils work miracles! I would have never guessed it would be safe for Jellyfish and Cuttlefish eggs. Keep up the great work!
🙏 thank you guys. (Is this Robert?)
The man himself in your house, wow that’s an honor
CUBAN REEFER look back, Julian is regular guest at my place. He’s our family friend and we hang out often.
Your glasses sir are brilliant!
Very cool, didn't know about wound coral and dipping, thank you Rich for this ! I use Revive and so far no problem, i guess i need to use bigger concentration, was scared!
Let me know how it goes.
Ha! Maj with Palmolive. You’re showing our age Julian!
I finally used my revive a week ago for a toadstool leather and cloven polyps, they both reacted very well. I was scared because the chemical smell but was happy with it.
i am happy to hear your success! keep dipping your new additions!
@@Reefscom Thanks for the informative Video! Also surprised to hear the many different uses of the product! Always a pleasure to hear from Julian
@@TFGaquatics you are very welcome! I think it's long overdue for another video with our favorite reef professor. :)
Thank you for this video Richard! Now I know the many uses for this awesome dip! Great video!
Thanks bud.
the bit at the end was great - the whoe vid was awesome but I love you sowed that ;)
Im happy to hear that you liked my jackie chan blooper reel lol. I try to put them at end of every video haha.
Love using revive great video 👍🏾
Your video so fantastic... This hobby very hard I have my saltwater aquarium running around 9 months now... change waters every 2 weeks my Redsea 170 34 gallon tank try dosing makes corlas grow healthy... excuses my writing I really don't know how too writing much.. I would love my tank like you have they looking so fantastic..
No problem at all and I’m glad that you are enjoying the videos. :)
I use Revive and this product is just so awesome. Good to see Julian himself discussing it. On a second note Richard i see your angel nipping at the lobo at 10:37 . how is he doing now.
Good eye. My goldflake seems to really like the mucus membrane the new corals produce. This new lobo in the tank is still going strong and doing well. :) i need more, in fact hahaha.
I'll have to try this :)
Nice video enjoyed watching :)
Tanks looking great. Crosshatch is beautiful. What kind of algae scrubber are you using to keep nutrients down?
Thanks. It's clearwater scrubber. I recently had a sharp spike on phosphate. Im going to find out what happened there.
That’s great I have the same
Unit. Gonna plumb it in once the outdoor sump is set up
Any effect on lps brown jelly disease?
I will have to ask him and get back to you on that one.
So does revive work on vermited snails also?
It will have to be a long dip unless you crack the protective shells.
Awesome thank you
What about dipping macro algae?
Macro algae? That's a first haha. I gotta ask the man. I dont see why not but i like to be certain.
@@Reefscom yea maco algae, sea grass, sea squirts, sponges, gorgonians, urchins, starfish, cucumbers & sea apples, cleanup crews, claims ect.
Need a list of what not to dip.
If not, what would be a solution as well.
I know most people don't mention seagrass but tangs won't eat it and can add a lot of depth into a tank.
@@portwolf2293 why not contact Julian directly? Email him at Julian@twolittlefishies.com
@@Reefscom I hate email like most people hate hair algae but I'll give it a shot.
@@portwolf2293 lol you are asking alot of things that only he can answer.
Don't tell him it's Dettol wooops
Clam?
No, no clams to my knowledge. Sorry.
@@Reefscom thank you.
My pleasure.
I live revive! Felt good watching him stick his hands in the solution. I treat it like it is a restricted chemical on the dark web SDS sheet. I don’t like to touch it!
pelphrey it’s good practice to use gloves. We are just lazy lol.
reefs thanks for sharing this video with us! I’m always extremely nervous dipping corals knowing the kids are around!
@@pelphrey this is actually just essential oils. Ofcourse kids cant drink it but it's not toxic. In fact, according tl Julian, you don't even have to rinse the coral off on fresh saltwater before introducing it in your tank. Kinda wild information there.
What the fuck he talking about ??? i
