I picked mine up 2 months ago, went through some real bad mud, 30 hours of super hard riding, beat multiple scrambler 500’s in a race and still no breaks. Torque and power is awesome, comfy machine that won’t let you down. 570 is a beast Edit: I’m at about 130 hours and 850 miles. Only thing I broke so far is a brake caliper. I also sunk this thing in a mining quarry 9 feet down but I kill switched it. Got it out of there in like 25 minutes and the damage was done. Took 6 hours to fix with a few people and a lot of oil. Still works like new a year after I sunk it. Machines no joke.
I’ve picked up a 2021 outlander 650Xmr back in may 2021, so far I have 100hrs and 1800kms, I also sunk mine in a clear lake and it hydro-locked, had to dive under water to retrieve it. Took 9 oil changes, 5 trans flushes, one front diff flush, 2 rear diff flush, swapped air filter, spark plugs, drained all the breather tubes and it still works 100%, that was about 25 engine hours ago. I’ve since added a dalton clutch kit, Yoshimura exhaust, new gates belt, hand guards, serviced/cleaned my clutches myself and replaced the one way bearings (I used the All Balls bearing kit). It wheelies like nothing in high range now 😂 I also have a can am 60” plow and did awesome pushing snow 👍
Totally agree! The 570XMR is a great buy and a very impressive machine. I have a Cforce 800XC which ways in at around 900lbs, plus me being about 250lbs, that a little over 1100lbs combined. My son, using his 570XMR was able to tow me on my machine up a steep sandy hill without any problems. He did have to get a running start but nevertheless, that bike really impressed me. Quite a powerhouse for a 570.
I go through deep mud bogs on a 1999 Sportsman 500 bone stock with not so aggressive tires. I've put that thing into mud up to the headlights only ever got it stuck once and it wasn't the machine, it was a mistake by me, I accidentally put the front end into a hole in some ice and it high centred. And I wasn't even stranded, pulled it out with winch. You don't need a big bore to go mudding. One of my buddies just got a nearly new Outlander 1000 XMR, my machine more than keeps up with his. Even if I had enough money to buy any quad I wanted for mudding, I wouldn't pick a 1000. The biggest machine I'd ever get would be a Grizzly 660 or 700. Those things are beasts. I had an older Grizzly 600 last year, the tires were pretty much bald but it was the most capable and tough machine I ever owned
I bought a 570 new in 2017 and I have beat just about every quad in the snow and mud that I've gone up against. The power to weight ratio is the secret. Perfect machine. And it's not so heavy you can't get unstuck yourself
Finally must’ve watched the 16 review 5 times. Have a 20 570. Awesome bike!! Just enough power to get you through anything without having too much power to break stuff every ride. Great review!
Been using Mayhems with my 550 and 570 since 2012. Light weight and plenty of traction. Great tire for less rotating mass and smaller motors. Can Am gets it, if they could just put a real locking front diff in. Visco lock keeps me away from the brand... here comes the hate from can am peeps. Lol
I did own a 2015 650 XMR previously and it was a good machine , I switched the mud tires out for some all terrain types because the mud tires are unstable feeling once you get over 50 km. Had little things that would break or stop working , rite from new . I also found the 2015 to be tippy , I understand the new ones have a wider foot print for better stability.
Have you ever ridden a Honda TRX300 Fourtrax in the mud? If you get stuck, you get off hit the throttle and your off again. The unit was so light and geared so low it could go anywhere.... slowly.
If you're riding anything with lugs that big that are specifically designed for mud, you have to expect to sacrifice a little bit of smoothness when trail riding. That said, they're not terrible and are completely trail-able.
Mega mayhems are as hard as a rock so they don't bite worth a dam on rocks and hard pack. Zillas or wild thangs are much better all round tires as their softer tread wise so they grip much better trail riding.
I got a base model renegade 570 2018 got a mental deal on her 7399 Canadian plus taxes I miss the power steering in the woods but other then that she rips, beat my buddys 700 grizzly in a drag race for half the price almost 😂 keep up the content loving it!
We don't have a 650 XMR in our lineup at the moment, but we did get an Outlander 650 Mossy Oak Edition that we'll be reviewing soon. Stay tuned for our comments on this engine.
The 650xmr is a great bike tons of power and basically the same as the 850 I agree that the 570 seems to lack power by the numbers but it in reality it is pretty fast. Sure u would like either
Keep this in mind... the 570, 650 and 850 share the same drive train for transmission and belt. 1000 XMR gets the different lower geared transmission and I believe before diffs. More power through the same drivetrain.
id like an atv with a snorkel and radiator on the front, but it just takes too much room for my taste. i like the spread the load evenly between front and rear, so sometimes i gotta take the long way around the deep mud and water holes. sucks but oh well lol
I’ve had mine for about 3 months now and love the bike although do you guys have a fix for the rear suspension id like to do trail rides every once and awhile and this bike just doesn’t cut it!
Just for info, a can am 570 is equivalent to a yamaha grizzly 700... Plenty of power, personally I went with a outty 650 max xt because of the extra goodies but I'm sure 570 engine is plenty.
Hey guys I have a question about a 570 max XT if you could provide some insight… I will not ride this 2 up as much as I will ride it single but Is it enough to take me and the girlfriend on a weekend ride with all of our gear? it’s about 600 pounds give or take for everything

Why does the title say small bore I would consider small bore from 50cc to 250cc, but 570cc, that is, that is definitely mid bore or maybe low big bore class
Thats just dirty water, have you tried it in actual mud? I have lots of the thick mud sauce in my area and my Sportsman 570 X2 handles it very well, I can only imagine a purpose built machine does it better.
I just bought my first Can Am Xrm 570, but it warm my legs a lot, especially the right one. Someone with experience in these bikes to tell me if it is normal or not. thank you very much and good video

Grew up on a polaris magnum 325, then a sportsman 400. People are spoiled with the amount of power we have now.
Pro tip : watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.

Yes please!!! Test the Renegade 570
Exactly this. Please!
That is what we really need
Same thing lmao just a different plastic kit
Picked up my 570xmr a month ago. Ive been through some pretty thick mud. I love it and very impressed.

I’m a can am guy but I agree and understand your point
I just put 27's with mild clutch work on my base model 570 and boom - perfect all-rounder.
Awesome! The clutch mod following upsizing the tires is key.
The mayhems do fine for me on my 650 XMR on the trails
Once you get into rocky trails is where I find they suffered, alot of rocks once you get a couple hours north of Toronto.
@@robqwertyuipp8750 Then after the rocks comes those muddy logging roads and skeg. Those Mega Mayhems do awesome up north for me.

Try the 2022 outlander mr 570
Just baffles me that an xmr comes without a winch. It’s sole purpose is to go deep.
AGREED!
That was the first accessorie I installed on mine ,but they are standard on the XT
Maybe they don't think you will get stuck it does have pretty nice tires compared to stock tires, I wish all atv's came with winches
650 doesnt have one either only 850 and 1000

Yamaha grizzly

Torq locker and some clutch work awesome machine

If you're riding anything with lugs that big that are specifically designed for mud, you have to expect to sacrifice a little bit of smoothness when trail riding. That said, they're not terrible and are completely trail-able.

What are y’all’s thoughts on the 570 outlander XT? I just do trail riding and some utility work
Like the 570 engine and the XT trim level is decently equipped. If your dealer treats you right, I'd say go for it!

Do the Honda rubicon 520 mud pro that a shop in Russellville Arkansas makes
