- Join me as we walkthrough the 2019 AQA Biology Paper 1 together. I will show you exam techniques and explain what the examiner is looking for. I have divided the video into 3 parts (this is part 1) to make it more manageable as each section can be quite intense. I take the answers up to the highest level!
The give you an idea of how you are getting on, the grade boundaries for this 2019 paper were:-
69% and above Level 9
63% and above Level 8
57% and above Level 7
48% and above Level 6
40% and above Level 5
32% and above Level 4
28% and above Level 3

I'm doing Combined Science AQA are these the same sort of questions that will come in my tests? (Im in year 10)
Yes, but there is less content to learn in combined. These questions will be good practice but it would be worth downloading your specification and being familiar with what you do and don't need to know I think most of the differences are found in paper 2. There is a summary document you could find on the AQA website which shows trilogy versus biology, this might help 😊

damnnnnnn, the 2019 paper was quite easy as compared to predicted papers released
What predicted papers? These are probably made by teachers rather than exam boards of that's any consolation?

No, triple, but many of the questions could be the same, just check the spec 😊

Combined science?
Hi, this is separate Biology. But, most of the questions in paper one are relevant to trilogy combined science.
Is this going to be on mocks
I don't know what your own teachers will use for the Mocks but I hope they will use questions you haven't seen before so that you are tested on your understanding rather than how well you might have learnt a markscheme for example. . These questions on this paper are in the public domain so it is unlikely these exact questions will be used. I would not use questions my students could have already seen. However, practising difficult exam questions and techniques is the best way to prepare you for your Mocks! 😊
no its on public now it wont be. It could only be the 2019 november paper or 2020 mini papers
I got told it was the 2019 summer higher paper by my teacher and she didn’t know you could get the answers

Combined science?
Hi! The 2020 AQA papers have not been made available to general public yet so I am not allowed to do that. The examboard is keeping them safe and as secure as possible. I am not sure when they will be released? Wishing you lots of luck for your exams! 😊
