Hello there. You told me why the 2018 question cystic fibrosis was removed earlier. Unfortunately I cannot see the whole comment because the video was taken down. What was the reason?
Hiya, thank you for drawing my attention to it again. I know the exam board say that research has moved on which is true but also having looked at the question again I also feel the question is insensitive as it talks about a shortened life span for affected individuals which will be upsetting for individuals with the condition or if they have loved ones with the condition. Either way, when I get time I will pop the video back up but with that question removed. Thanks again for raising this, I made the video a while ago and had forgotten that question was there! @@BiologyBreakdownwithMrsH Thanks. I understand why they did not want to upset people but I think that people will find it harder to cured diseases like this in the future if its ignored. Science shouldn't be tainted by emotions. Thanks for explaining it.
Yes, I guess we just don't want to remind young people of this fact while they are trying to focus on their exams and it is encouraging that there have been such improvements to treatments, understanding the disease better and a better outlook/extended lifespan thank goodness! 😊

isnt 1.2 light is absorbed by the chloroplasts?
Hi, they will accept chloroplasts too 😊 chlorophyll is inside the chloroplast and is a pigment that can absorb the light but for GCSE either answer is fine! 🍀
