@@michaellatko1639 stop the bs. You know damn well that winning 8 straight versus two main rivals just tastes sweeter. Standings don’t matter when the Cubs play the Cards or the Sox.
Would it be more impressive nationally if they did it versus teams with better records this season? Sure. Not only is that irrelevant to my comment; but winning 8 straight games is difficult for any team. Many teams will go the entire season without winning 8 straight games.

Back to the cellar with the Cardinals. They deserve every day they spend in last place. At least the Cubs had the guts to fire Joe Maddon. The divas in the Cards front office have no spine. They know the seats will get filled regardless because they are the only show in town in the midwest.

After 50+ years of being a Cowboys fan, last year I switched to the Colts. This year I started following the Cards. It's gotten so bad, the bookies are calling me to see who I'm rooting for, so they'll know who to bet against.:)

Number of At Bats this season... Suzuki- 321, Tauchman- 185. BOTH players have 34 RBI. Suzuki should be dropped to 7th or 8th in the lineup. He's NOT clutch at all. 👎
