HI. I am about to change the batteries to my Electrolux ErgoRapido Lithium, model ZB3013 (18V), which I think is exactly the same that you have. Did you have 5 batteries in it?
What is the voltage per battery in those Samsung batteries? Is it 3,7V?

Hi, thank's for the video. I replaced the cells in my ZB3011 Ergorapido Li-35 and all seem to work ok. But I was wondering why the batteries failed in the first place, so I conneced the cleaner to a lab power supply, set it to VC 25V. Started charging with 20,48V on the battery the current draw was 490mA form the power supply, and it was steady up to ~21V. When the 3rd LED started to blink I measured 21.2V on the battery, each cell having 4.24V with 190mA comming form the power supply. So surely the vacum cleaner was aproaching full battery because the current draw was falling. But I turned it off since it looks like it will reach ca. 4.3V per cell before it will stop charging. I think it is dangerous.
Have You got the schematic for the PCBa? Or perhaps have acces to calibration procedure? Thanks in advance!

I replace old (Samsung) batteries from an ZB3011 with 5*SONYUS18650VTC6 (brand new).
    Continuous discharge current: 15A
    Peak Discharge Current: 30A
    Capacity: 3120mAh
Real discharge capacity (measured wit Opus BT-C3100) 3050-3150 mAh
I tested this batteries 2 times with charger Opus BT-C3100 and i leave them full charged before soldering.
After I solder new batteries I measure balance connector( that with 5 pins), and voltage was right for every pin.
After I solder this batteries I start vacuum cleaner(Electrolux Ergorapido ZB3011) at full speed.
Vacuum cleaner run at full speed for 30-35 minutes.
After full discharge ( vacuum cleaner stop himself) I wait 1h and I put ZB3011 on original charge adapter.
    Vacuum cleaner is not charging.
When I put to charge :
    1. Last led light in red continuous
    2. After a while last led start blinking in red once per second.
    3. After a while all led are stop.
Sometime step 1. is missing, some time step 2. is missing
    What to do?
    Thanks

First check the voltage of every battery, if they are all at the same voltage when charged (4.2v) or one of them is dead i think it will be best to change them all. Also check the voltage of the charger.

It is better to prepare the spot where you will solder the wires on every cell by putting sone solder on every cell end. Use solder and keep the heat as little as you can on the cell. Use some sandpaper if the solder will not make contact with the cell. Make some tests on the broken cells . Also try to find solder that need less heat for melting. Be very very careful with the polarity. And use safety gear, most important -goggles.

Any 18650 battery with at least a 10A rating will work, they just have different capacity. The most important thing is to buy all the batteries at the same time and all the same brand and model. They will become whats know as married, they all charge and discharge together, to keep voltage differences down.
      I'd go with these, www.imrbatteries.com/samsung-36g-18650-3600mah-10a-battery/
They are 3600mAH, the largest offered in the 18650 size, should give you an improved battery life over the OEM. (I'm pretty sure the batteries in the video are Samsung SD1 also, just a lower mAH rating)
You can solder them, just look up a youtube video. But soldering can raise the temperature to much and damage the cell. Best is to use a spot welder.

Also after you change the batteries if it is not starting try to make a full charge. But on yours if you do not have charging light on is is very posible to be wrong polarity.
