Interesting video of all the NFL stadiums. As a devoted, life-long KC Chiefs fan whose devotion to the team extends back to the mid-60's, my beloved Municipal Stadium (the Chiefs original home and also the birthplace of the Wolfpack, the Red Coaters and tremendously entertaining American Football League football), was my 1st field of dreams. When Arrowhead opened in the 1972 season, I got the life-lesson that time marches on for everyone. So like most Chiefs fans, I adopted it as my favorite stadium. Originally, Arrowhead held 78,034 seats and was truly a state-of-the-art venue, but as the decades wore on, the Chiefs opted to reduce seating capacity and add modern, updated features. I feel fortunate to be able to say that in that first season (1972), I was part of the largest sports crowd in KC history, 82,094 when the Chiefs hosted the Oakland Raiders in November of that season. The sports-complex project in Kansas City that included Royals Stadium (now known as Kauffman Stadium) ran 8-million dollars short of funding for a giant, arched, move-able roof that could cover either stadium in the event of inclement weather. Both stadiums combined, with over-abundant parking areas (a tailgaters dream) cost Kansas City taxpayers in the neighborhood of 75 million dollars. In 2018 that wouldn't be enough to sign a top quarterback. My, how times have changed! Long live the AFL!
As a born-and-raised Denverite, I can confirm that criticizing John Elway is extremely illegal in the state of Colorado and almost all of the inmates at Sterling Correctional Facility (the largest prison in CO) are Elway slanderers.
@@FivePointsVids oh it goes way deeper than that. I've been a fan of the Saints for over 10 years and I wanted my first NFL game to be of the saints and I got my chance to see them play in LA and one thing that shocked me about the stadium is the amount of security and even though the stadium is pretty small for the chargers it feels much bigger when the game is full
Cool video but FedEx field is actually VERY close to the DC line. Its like a 4 mile drive and like less than 3 miles straight line distance. From the top of the west upper decks you can see the Capital building and the Washington Monument. Funny thing is, it is even less than an hour from the Ravens stadium in downtown Baltimore.
The field is about 20 feet below the outside ground level. Thats a guess from the view I had from the time that I had field passes last year. The stadium sits on a big hill and the parking lot is very hilly. From outside it looks like its 15 stories tall.
The thing with Levis Stadium that really gets me is how the away side gets baked by the sun every game. Only the luxury box/press box side gets any real shade.
For Charlotte where I live you said what would we be without Bank of America but the building you showed wasn't the BOA tower, you showed the Hearst Tower. You probably did it on purpose and it made me laugh. Good video
When I went to the Superbowl in Dallas I walked into Cowboys stadium and my jaw dropped. Its insane! Its a gorgeous stadium and every seat in the house is a good one.
Soldier field as a stadium sucks...but that didn't stop me (on more than one occasion) travelling all the way across the Atlantic from my home in England to watch a game there
The only reason Seattle is so loud is cuz they put a roof on it, and Arrowhead STILL beat it. Could you imagine if they but a roof on Arrowhead? People would be bleeding from the ears
Seattle has a "roof" over the seating that reflects the sound from the other side onto the field. The stadium was designed to be loud. Arrowhead is an open bowl that's 50 years old and is still louder. Probably because they would have run the ball from the 2 yard line in the Super Bowl.
FedEx Field is a one mile hike from Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. M&T now has a bank of escalators to the 500 level and another one next season. Its a short walk Hamburg St. and Camden Yards stations. Also the Ravens unveiled lower concession stand prices by 20 to 30 per cent called "Flock Friendly Fare" this season.
Fun fact about Broncos Field at Mile High; a bar owner in Denver led the campaign to keep "Mile High" part of the stadium name. Keeping Mile High part of the stadium name was so popular, they elected the bar owner mayor of Denver and then governor of Colorado, only the second person ever to do that. He is even expected to run for president in 2020. Yes, I'm talking about John Hickenlooper.

Is it actually sunken down into the ground as it appears in the video? If so, that seems like a much more sensible option for a bowl-shaped structure.
The field is about 20 feet below the outside ground level. Thats a guess from the view I had from the time that I had field passes last year. The stadium sits on a big hill and the parking lot is very hilly. From outside it looks like its 15 stories tall.
Bet the MLS Cup Final (ATL United - Portland) (held in Atlanta) had a higher attendance than every Atlanta home game
don’t talk about how atlanta’s stadium has the lowest food/drink items of all major sports in the US? oh ok. do better
you want credit for doing what you're supposed to do? cmon now. you're lucky i didn't bring up 28-3 :)
i’m a packers fan but ok...
Also home to the biggest collapse in professional sports history...
GOT THOSE $2 HOTDOGS THOUGH
The thing with Levis Stadium that really gets me is how the away side gets baked by the sun every game. Only the luxury box/press box side gets any real shade.
my favorite is Fed-ex fields parking fee
FedEx Field is not an hour from DC. It's only 11 miles from the Capital. But traffic makes it feel that way
9:04 (Snickers). And I don't care. I'm calling that stadium BeyBlade Next Gen.
Love your vids, FivePoints! I haven't looked yet, but if you haven't done NHL arenas you need to.
Does it annoy anyone else how Atlanta slapped on a Mercedes-Benz logo after New Orleans did so? At least sponsor two stadiums from different divisions
Phillip Bakker funding
That has to throw some gasoline on what is already a fierce rivalry.
What's next? The Bank being called Mercedes Benz Field?
As a falcons fan the internet in Mercedes Benz is amazing
My favorite stadium is m&T Bank stadium and MetLife stadium
9:06 made me laugh so hard I watched it 50 times and couldn’t stop laughing
Bills fans always crack me up!!😂😂
Colton Brecka Bills Mafia. Not all fans are like that. Ok yes we are.
You need to update the dolphins stadium, it hasn't looked like that for a few years now
Yea like tf you really tried it
Soldier field as a stadium sucks...but that didn't stop me (on more than one occasion) travelling all the way across the Atlantic from my home in England to watch a game there
MATTHEW GARSTIN Bear down indeed
There are a bunch of cool things to do in Chicago besides watch a game though.
Would you do it for Green Bay?
lol
Great video, definitely laughed a few times and learned something about all the stadiums.
The only reason Seattle is so loud is cuz they put a roof on it, and Arrowhead STILL beat it. Could you imagine if they but a roof on Arrowhead? People would be bleeding from the ears
@Kyle G Would you mind pointing to a picture of Arrowhead and showing me where the roof is?
Your ears are ringing when the game is over.
Seattle doesn't have a roof.... That's why I get rained on during games
+Simeon G OK partial roof
Seattle has a "roof" over the seating that reflects the sound from the other side onto the field. The stadium was designed to be loud. Arrowhead is an open bowl that's 50 years old and is still louder. Probably because they would have run the ball from the 2 yard line in the Super Bowl.
Arby's at 2:00 am...
👏👏👏👏👏
Hats off Sir...
Fed Ex Field and M&T Stadium are my home stadiums.
10:23 i love that this man just like accepted he was gonna die for a minute
*NEXT TO THE RAY J (SHOWS RAYJ AND KIM KARDASHIAN PICTURE WHEN HE SMASHED)* 😂😂
First energy stadium is not factory of sadness anymore now it’s Paul brown stadium
It’s Heinz Field
@@HAA0603 Heinz Field is a more of a salt factory. Thanks a lot, Yinzer
LANDOVER IS NOT AN HOUR FROM DC 🗣
With traffic it is
FivePoints Vids no it’s not bro.google sheriff road.its literally 2 mins from northeast dc
@@FivePointsVids It's only an hour if you take one of the buses to the game. By car it is more like 20 some minutes.
in fairness, with traffic North Seattle is an hour from Century Link Field
FivePoints Vids no, it’s not. It’s 20 minutes
I swear if I see another video including the Minnesota miracle I will be very mad. Anyways good videos
Second biggest head for a QB, behind Peyton Manning.
anyway
Seat Geek is the only thing I used that was an advertisement. Thanks
