- After the seven initial cars which I talked about in a previous datamining leak for GT7, we are now taking a look at around 80 more (!) cars which seem to have even more weight behind them being likely now that the Suzuki Escudo and friends further establish its legitimacy...So let's take a look at this data mining treasure heap, and look over the tons of new vehicles which were uncovered by it, including both returning iconic faces from GT's past, as well as some pretty epic newcomers to the franchise...

I just have 1 simple question ! Why does a game from 2022 has lesser cars than the older version like gt6?

The 1981 Delorean why ? we already have one. I wouldn't mind if I saw it at Hagerty. The next update better have "special movie edition" options (joking of course)
@@zenonpereira8839 the cars take way longer to model and they've commited to having them all up to the massive standard the current GT games have instead of half the cars being ports like the standard cars in gt5 and 6. Plus the physics engine is most likely a lot more complicated so it will take longer to perfect the physics for each car.
Plus imo the pure number of the car list doesn't matter, it's quality over quantity for me. Especially when I only use like 10-20 cars consistently anyway. And the same probably goes for most people.
Still watching this Video again in 2024 to checkmark the Cars from the updates, still so happy this list turned out to be correct so far.
Me too 😂. I think the next update (end february / start march) will be big update (4/5 cars) with 1 Audi (RS6 or R8 V10) with 1 rally car... I hope. We have to wait.

I think adding the Saleen S7, C5R or the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 would be great too, but the list is quite intriguing altogether; Good to hear that a lot of cars are returning from past GT games.
Yeah that would have been a great line up, guarantee we will never see these cars coming back, maybe the C5R, but Panoz and Saleen, no way

This list even 9 months later still holds weight! A lot of these vehicles have actually released and are about to be released as of the writing of this comment!
So far the list has come true, Skyline Silhouette, 918 Spyder etc.
And now currently in December 2022 we have the cosworth and m2, and about to receive the Celica rallie car and the Bugatti Chiron....oh and a surprise NEW Ferrari VGT

The MP4/4 would make sense for Polyphony as they are massive Senna fans, that won him his first title and was also a Honda to boot.
We had Senna's John Player Special Lotus and it was a BEAST and now we will have the mighty Mclaren MP4/4....perfect!!!
I never understand why they add an f1 branded car. Better to do what they did with the f1500t and build a car based on the rule set of f1 cars of the era. That why race teams can't block you from creating rival liveries to edit as the merc you couldn't edit them which makes it boring.

I SO hope this is one we can do custom liveries for. Not that there's anything wrong with the original Senna/Prost Honda spec, but this would be a lot of fun to deck out with other F1 liveries like we could with the Dallara F2 and F1500-T in sport.
Now if they could do the F1 2022 spec, that would be even better.

I don't blame you for thinking the eagle_type122_09 is an E-Type (it was my first thought too) but that car's actually the 2009 Lotus Evora, as seen in the GT Sport beta. The reason for the file name is that it was known internally at Lotus as both Project Eagle and Type 122. As for why the file is named like that, the Evora debuted in GT5P the same day it was revealed at the Paris Auto Show. It's kept that file name ever since.

Exactly, where are the hot hatches like the Corsa, Astra, 308? Where’s the new Fiesta and Megane? Mini Countryman???? Also, there’s another list with the new Vantage listed, can we get that one + the Vanquish and the DB9? E Class 2018 AMG S, Panamera and XKR R Performance would be lovely too

4:06 The Tom's Supra and Penzoil GT-R share two things with this car - all three are from the same era and all three have won a championship. Adding the Castrol is basically finishing a holy trinity. I find it strange this car wasn't added earlier.

I was really hoping that they would bring the Escort into the game, which ever model... Also some euro pocket rockets needed like the Saxo VTS and 106 GTI 16V

There are loads of euro hot hatches missing! Clio 182/172, Williams clio, saxo vtr/vts, 106gti, abarth 595 competizione to name a few. I'd love to see Nissan pulsar and starlet glanza too

The problem is it’ll take over 2 years for them to come to the game, assuming we’ll continue getting 3 cars a month.

@@SMDTURBO i hadnt seen the no paid DLC news...its kinda crazy they are turning away money...especially simce they are encouraging less psople to grind for in game credits vs using a credit card to get game credits more easily since some of the cars values are insane!

I’m writing this as of the reveal of the MP4-4, Cayman and GTO. This list is gaining a lot more weight.
I wonder if it is possible they will add more cars beyond this list
imo the list could be the cars they're working on, but that doesn't mean 100% of it will come or they can't stray away from the list.
I hope they put brand new cars into the game, if they just go through the list first it'll just be a 2 years worth of content update with no brand new MY2022+ cars, and I'm hoping for Polyphony to bring in the latest Porsche GT3RS & GT4RS.

Races is the biggest Failure of GT7. GT was always about Mostly lower end road cars, but GT7 with E-sports is mostly about Motorsport, which is a massive mistake because of Licensing means at best you have 2 disciplines, then E sports limits you to the banality of current Motorsport, disregarding nearly 130 years. Oh, and disregarding 99+% of Motorsport disciplines
At this point I’ll be content with Classic races and pre2000 1990 1980 1960 1950. With those added as selectable options for custom races and lobbies. And 1 rally stage Not ATV BS, (I Swear the DEVs are children) A Classic Monte Carlo stage would be nice

I really like the majority of these but there's a few cars that aren't in the list that kinda need to be back, Toyota GT-One (Gr.1), Nissan R390 GT1 (Gr.2), McLaren P1 (can't not have that if LaF and 918 are present), Toyota 7 (Chaparral 2J is quite lonely tbh), Toyota Minolta '89 (Gr.1 battle with Mercedes C89), Porsche 959 (for F40 battle) etc, in general we just need more Gr.1, Gr.2, and Hypercars tbh

Still blows my mind that they haven't added the current C8 Corvette or what I would consider to be a must for the Porsche collector the 959. Just 2 of the cars I would really like to see added to the line up, but half the fun is the anticipation of what will be added next. The Lotus Esprit is a big one for me. Drove it so much in GT4. Will absolutely love driving it again, EVEN if it still doesn't turn into a submarine.

When it comes to the cars on this list, LFA, Demon and 599 are on the top of my list. LFA for obvious reasons, Demon cause that supercharger whine shoud be in the music hall of fame, and the 599 because with the 599 might be the 599XX EVO.
Even if the car itself isnt added, pd will be sure to add the diffuser and wing to make recreations easier

I'm delighted to see the comeback of the XJ 220.
We need to close the 1990 supercars with a Bugatti EB 110 and an early Diablo (SE 30 Jota or SV).
And what about theses cars? (Vector, Cizeta, Lister Storm, Nissan R390 and Lotus GT1 could be cool tho) .
We've got the XJ220 and 959 now, still hoping for an EB110 and couldn't agree more about an early Diablo.

Yesterday when Kaz revealed the cars, I went straight to the reddit post where some1 shared the list of found cars on the game data back in first days of June - and there was the Ford Roadster 1932 that is now coming on this week's update
I’ve said this a few times. The presence of a quirky JDM boxy van like the Alphard is completely on brand for PD and makes it seem very legitimate.
What i love the most is the return of Lotus and Volvo, simply because i love more brands.
I was thinking perhaps they won't release older Volvo cars because that brand doesn't exist anymore.
But if they do i would love to see SAAB return as well.
The rally cars are icons but deserve more rally tracks.
Of course i love the Chiron and the Spyder but i fear that the old Bugatti will be 20M.
Yeah its cool Lotus and Volvo are back. Would love to see the Volvo 242 wagon return and possibly the P1800. The motorsports Elise would be awesome too...that was one of my go to cars in GT from years passed.

Definitely more rally tracks...i think Pikes Peak returning would be awesome...especially since there are a few PP vehicles coming soon as well as some other rally monster machines!. Just in time for the 4th of July Pikes Peak climb!
I drive a Volvo and always wanted Volvo's return ever since GT Sport. Would be really nice to see the S60 Polestar as a Gr.3 car and the Polestar 1 as well!
I just want abarth/fiat make a bigger return. Like the Punto models, the 124, 131, and maybe even the Panda XD

The 208 Pikes Peak uses the Peugeot V6 from the Pescarolo LMP1.

12:01 the tuning shop that you’re referring to is Art Morrison. The corvette that was featured from GT5P to GT6 was a 1960 C1 Corvette restomod that won Best in Show and the GT Award at SEMA in 2006.

@@dcdude345 Yes, The one you’re referring to is the ‘54 Corvette C1. That car had a inline straight 6 engine that was nicknamed “The Blue Flame”.
@@clgmotorsport3021 what cgr said! Thats absolutely correct...not a very quick car...but quick for the time. The c1 got noticeably quicker with the v8 introduction....especially the Fuelie (fuel injected)
I'm very excited for the Garaiya, AsparaDrink RX-7, Castrol NSX, what I hope is the the ALMS Evora of Alex Job Racing, MP4-4, Skyline Super Silhouette, 190E Evo II, and 500E.
But nothing excites me more than the Lancia 037B and Porsche 904!
They picked the Castrol Mugen NSX because it was Honda's first GT500 Title and the first GT500 Title to be won with 0 race wins.

At first glance, I can't wait to take the 190E Evo to the Nordschleife again. The classic Rally cars are alse very welcome. And the Cosworth. And about a dozen of the others. :)
1958 Corvette is one of the most beautiful American cars ever! Super excited to see it in game! GT games usually have a pretty weak lineup of Classic American cars so this is a good sign!
Plus the GTO is coming back!
Buick GNX is what I’m waiting for, but when it comes to classic American cars for the 80s they should add IROC Camaro Z28 to go along with the GNX

Toyota Alphard is an absolute legend in Japan. you see them absolutely everywhere. they are very popular for internal and external customization and are definitely part of Japanese car culture. If they are bringing the Alphard, they should bring the Toyota Hiace (High Ace) as well since it's even more popular for tuning

they're just pure elegance all over Asia and it'll be cool to have one of them in GT7. Perhaps if Gran Turismo is wild enough I'd love to slam it to the ground and put chrome wheels on them 😛

I really been wanting the 190e, should have been in the game from the start seeing as how the M3 an Alfa 155 are there an all 3 would battle in the DTM class in the 90s
Now we just need the Calibra and then we have them all
1:30 and 19:46 man... I couldn't be much happier !!! 190E Evo 2 and the legendary Wolf in sheep's clothing !!! The 500E !!! I love those Mercedes from that era.. In fact, I own a 1991 190D and I love her :D
A year later, it’s good to see a majority of this cars have been added.
Hopefully this means we will get more than a measly 3 cars a month at some point, otherwise if this list is true we won't be getting some of these until 2025 going by the current update car amount!

Before even starting the whole video I see the LFA and couldn't be happier :-D Would be ace if they squeeze in the racecar from the 24h of the Nürburgring. Saw that car in Tokyo on display, great memories. EDIT: wow, GNX and R30 Silhouette are two more that I wanted from the beginning :-)
The LFA is still not a great lookin car to me....but its still a cool car. It sounds awesome for sure...but why wouldnt it when it wanted to sound like a Ferrari? I still think the Carrera GT is better sounding! But if they would add the Aston Martin Valkyrie...the decision would be tougher 🤣

Great list so far, but considering the list is partly nostalgic early GT cars, if they added the ‘95 Ford GT90, and Toyota’s GT One TS020 cars, I would’ve been absolutely smitten with this list more than I am already
So many cars I'm definitely ready to enjoy, and most of them are from my childhood! Imagining seeing the Escudo Pikes Peak and the Castrol Mugen NSX JGTC in 4K is already making me teary-eyed....
The Avantime was "leaked" months ago by the owner of the one that PD laserscanned. Not long after it got laserscanned, the owner sold it. It came with the documentation from PD as well as copies of the scan. Same with the Fiat Coupe Turbo except that one wasn't sold. The owner of it said PD took their Fiat away for laserscanning.

Lots of great returns. I would personally like to see some muscle cars from different years. Like mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers. Like early 2000s and 2010s, 90s muscle as well. They been featured in prior GT games. So bringing them back would be nice.

Love to see the Cizeta V16 return, also the GT40 race car and the awesome Wiegart Vector. Disappointed that we can’t Widebody the Countach LP400 to turn it into an LP400S, it has a lower body than the anniversary, would love to see the LP400S in the game especially if you could add the front nose wing in true Cannonball Run style !!
Yes, the Cizeta V16T would make for a nice comeback :-) Especially since Canepa got into restoring one quite recently I think. So there should be a chance of getting a quality digital model.

For the 208 T16, you said that the engine in it is a twin turbo diesel from the 908 HDI but it’s a 5.5 liter V12, actually the engine in the 208 T16 is a 3.2 liter twin turbo V6 which makes 875 hp.
I think it was the rear wing that came from the Peugeot 908.
I wish they would add Ken Blocks Hoonicorn. It would be fun to drive and throw some Respect to a guy that loved driving fast.
This list would definitely make good additions to GT7 the 190 Evo I’ve been waiting for to make liveries on since launch. The F430 is my favorite Ferrari model next to the Berlinetta. To see the Civic EG return is definitely a favorite that many Honda fans would love. Oddly enough, the accord Euro & R (H22, CU2 and CL7/CL9) hasn’t been brought back. I reckon it’ll give the Peugeots and Renaults a bit of a challenge. Lotus as a GT version if done right can put a hurt on the field when racing but the pp system has to be done right for this car. Wagons vs Minivans MUST HAPPEN lol!! The Evo 3 and S14 will be back (in the used car dealership) just because. Staying tuned to more content💪💪💪

I have an idea why they gonna include this particularly car , 1992 E500 Mercedes-Benz W124 , fast and subtle , this is a very special and important car , Porsche was close to Bankruptcy , so Mercedes hired Porsche to tune this car!

If they can provide classic formula one cars, then they should provide classic nascars as well. I know these are not classic 80s nascar, but I’ll take a Lumina or Taurus car onto Daytona.
I am definitely looking forward to Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak. One dream car I would love to see is 96, 97, or 98 Dodge Viper GTS. Maybe even Ferrari F355. This would be great. Awesome video, keep them coming.

08-14 Sti should already be in the game. The weight reduction mod vehicle is an 08-14 sti body.

My heart sang like no other with the potential addition of the Mercedes E500 Hammer 😍 such a gorgeous Mercedes classic, that being said if I had to request some cars it would be the Ferrari 360 Modena/Challenge Stradale, Ferrari 550 Maranello, W204 Mercedes C63 AMG, and various generations of the Audi RS4 to compete with the M3/4 and C63 would be nice

Would love to see the Peugeot 106 GTI and Opel Kadett E GSI added as I drove these myself. Also the Panoz Esperante GTR 97/98, the DTM Opel Calibra V6, DTM Mercedes C-class, DTM Opel Omega. Those where my favourite racing series in that time. So many great races seen back then.

I first want to say that I freaking love sports cars and hot hatches from 2000-2010 Such as the M3, Carrera GT, Murcielago, etc, and I'm super excited for the TTRS Golf V, Avantime and the 599, as a kid my favorite car in GT5 was the Evora (even though it sounded terrible in that game)
And I want even more:
206 RC, Focus ST, C4, 147GTA, Brera, Seat, etc
And I also like a lot this thing Gran Turismo do with putting 2 distinct versions of 1 car, but not over exaggerating like those 2000 Miatas in GT6
I would really like to be able to choose specifically which cars in any particular class you can race aganst and to also pick and choose your opponents’ liveries. I love the 962 in GT Sport and would love to race against other 962s (that are not all Rothmans Porsches) as well as other Group C cars and not these fictional concept cars.
Very exciting, and thanks for the video. The Merc 500E is indeed a legend, a collaboration with then-financially-stressed Porsche in the same vein as the Audi RS2, albeit with a more luxurious ethos. Flared arches that wouldn’t fit through the assembly line, overbuilt in every way, yet much more understated than the ‘Hammer’ AMGs. Quite the sleeper
I think that adding those 80 cars will enhance the customization and racing aspect of the game. However, it would be great to see GT add a NASCAR stock-car, an Indy car, and maybe a modern F1 car to the game.
Aside from the potential adding of cars, I think GT7 needs more tracks. It would be awesome to see GT add COTA, Watkins Glenn, Hockenhiem, Circuit de Gilles-Villeneuve, Road America and Road Atlanta.
It is probably in the pipeline to add more FIA approved tracks, but one can hope.
Yes...would be nice to have Nascars for Daytona...also if they would bring back Indianapolis Motor Speedway and roadcourse. Bringing back Sonoma (Sears Point) would be awesome for many cars, including Nascar. Im near Atlanta so Road Atlanta would be amazing. Road America would be awesome too. Yes, bring COTA...especially since Indy, F1, and Nascar race there now!

I think the 500E is actually the AMG version, or as it is famously called, "The Hammer".
Even if it's just a 'regular' 500E, that car was produced by Porsche for Mercedes, so there's a special lineage.

Most hyped for Sierra cossi and 190E, love the 80/90´s RWD. Would like to see r32-34 gts-t, c33 laurel, jzx80-110 and similar cars that´s classic street/drift cars.
Great list, but I hope there will be some more cars, cars that could rival already existing cars in the game like the Alfa 8C 2900B or the Mercedes SSK. Same will be with the Bugatti Type 37, it great but at the same time sad when they add wonderful cars like this but with no competing cars from that era, it’s a missed opportunity.
I'm looking forward to the return of lotus but was hoping to see an Exige in the list. Cheers for covering this though, looking forward to some of the future cars.
There are many cars we consider Legends in Gran Turismo series, but all depends on Licences issues of cars and tracks, thats why in the past, we hace a lot of japanese cars and original circuits in the first 3 GTs
