    I just turned 69yrs old last month (April). I love this video!! It has reminded me that I need to always love myself as I travel this journey to better health!! I have struggled with weight loss my whole life. I have achieved my weight loss goals and maintained for a year or two but then slipped back into gaining. I have 40 lbs to go to get to my goal weight. I have had and achieved lower goal weights but I find the older I've gotten the harder it is to lose weight 🥺 I look forward to watching your videos daily!! You continue to inspire me! I love your dogs and hope Lola is doing well! I look for both of them in every video I watch 🐶🐶

    Totally agree with what you said. I’ve lost 100 pounds on WW but still working on portion control. I still have more to lose and taking it one day at a time as I’ve done since I started. The only thing I would add is to pay attention to Non Scale Victories like body measurements and how your clothing is fitting.

    I learned the lesson the hard way of that all or nothing mentality!!! I finally had a light bulb moment…one little “slip-up” doesn’t have to turn into falling off the wagon completely. It was freeing to learn that and I’ve lost 45 lbs. and feel good! Working on finally healing my relationship with food! 🥰

    Thanks Jenn for all your great tips. I have been watching you for awhile now. You have motivated me so much. I'm also on a weight loss journey. Today I'm down 60lbs and have about 40lbs to go. I have hit a serious plateau but I know I need to tweak a few things and not give up. I appreciate you! Thank you.

    I love this Jenn.. you are so spot on! Grace I think is huge. So easy to get down on yourself when you grab something no so great … what I really need is a little person screaming “drink your water” in my ear. I get so busy in my day that before I know it , it’s 4:30 and I’ve “maybe” had 16 ounces .

    I Love the advice! Ihave been trying to lose but I keep trying the same 10lbs that I have been doing for 8 months. Loving myself is difficult for me but I need to keep trying. I'm my own worst enemy! Well I'll give it another try! Thank You!

    I love what you said about workout clothes! I spend money on cute ones and as soon as I slip them on, I feel better about EVERYTHING.

    I’m just trying to lose 20 lbs, feels like I’m on a seesaw, up and down. I can’t keep chips in my house, because I devour them. I say those things like you mentioned to myself daily.

    Hi Jenn this is such a great topic I just turned 60 Friday but so many things you said rings true for me. I'm starting at a high weight like you did and I will do good for a while but never seem to stick with it. I do not illuminate anything I have learned that from you and I have bad arthritis in my knees so I try to sit and do some exercise but I don't do it like I should. You have been a wonderful resource for me on learning about life style changes. I love your meal preps and make a lot of the recipes, I just want to say thank you for your hard work and love all the pink vibes😊❤

    I’m getting better at shortening my eating window. I don’t eat until 230 pm and try to stop around 6 pm. I’m 60 still cleaning 2 houses a day. Staying busy makes it easy to not be eating.

    Everything resonates with the me. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and advice, it's nice knowing we're not alone and its normal. Starting where you're at is the biggest and remembering I'm not perfect. I've recently only restarted to invest in myself and it is hard but I do feel better this time around more clarity and realistic goals.

    I portion control! And it works for me! It works very well. Now I read labels and watch my sodium. I'm eating more protein including eggs! ❤

    PREACH girl!! I totally agree with all of your lessons! One of the other weight loss you tubers I watch constantly changes what she does and today she was talking about doing the weight loss shots. So, I may be done watching her. I feel so bad for her, but she is a nurse and should know those drugs are not the way to go.

    Thank you Jenn for all of this information. It is exactly what I needed to hear. It was very encouraging. I am at the same weight I was a year ago even though I have tried everything. I feel I am inconsistent and don’t follow through on anything. I won’t see results in a week or I will gain so I get frustrated and throw in the towel or I let temptations side line me. How do you maintain the ability to stay on track and be consistent? I will definitely try all you have said though! Thank you thank you!

    I've been stuck/maintaining for the past few months. Lots of things happened and I gave myself "permission" to not be perfect. My 45 yr old niece died of colon cancer and just two months later my sister (her mother) went into a Hospice facility and passed away a month after that. I spent every day at the facility and was there when she took her last breath. Then came dealing with all of her creditors, will, union, death benefits etc. I was her power of attorney and her executor. Her husband doesn't speak English and I've been translating for him as well. I was surprised to see that even though I gave myself permission not to be perfect and many meals were meals out, I found myself doing mindful/intuitive eating and I maintained. Happy to say that I'm back on program and finally down 2.4 lbs this week 😊. Onward with my journey. Progress not perfection

      I didn’t really sit out with a number in mind. I wanted to wait and see how my body responded. Honestly, I’m about 10 to 15 pounds heavier than I thought that I would be but I’m perfectly fine where I am!
