@@prisonersforprofit I outgrew mine in HS. I had a speech class and all the most popular kids, the football players, even the bullies, were terrified. Shaking. It waa hilarious and I learned the difference between courage and bluster, between self confidence and arrogance. I think being made fun of for glasses, turned it into a 'nothing to lose' situation.. Never looked back.
@@Alvan81 agree. i took speech in college, in my 30's, mainly to face my fear head on, it changed my life, i remember in high school spending all my time trying to hide and not be called on, terrified of speaking in front of 30 people, in college i remember other people asking me how i was so good at it, and so confident... my parents did a number on me, the constant criticizing and negative feedback, took years to get my self-esteem to a normal level, speech class was a real eye opener.
lol. She was uncomfortably holding back tears of laughter! She pre-reads most lines while Phil is talking, busting up each time. You’re the only one uncomfortable. Not sure why that is, exactly.

Jodie is a good sport - it wasn't her thing but she did it anyway and with grace !
I have seen him do this sketch with several women, and every successive time I laugh louder. Well done sir 🤝🏻👍🏻🇳🇱
Same here. I was about to add the same comment. He's pretty hilarious.
The Jodiest Jody of them all.
I can't believe he stands that way.... so funny, and wide.
This dude should be way more popular.
After 10 months...i'm sure his YT and TT has surged him to popularity now thankfully
Jody...killing it. Bravo.
If I ever get dumped over the phone (again), I'm so using the _sorry I couldn't hear you, but I want to break up_ move.
It's like the George Constanza "you can't say it's not you, it's me - I invented that".
Genius .I cant wait for more of Phil Hanley.
Your humor is amazing. I love it.
Phil is awesome
Jody is like the SNL host trying not to break character but did. 😂
Donkey hammer is what really does it for me
This is some great comedy!
"He's a good looking man, so I'm your type" lol
Great set!!
Let's hear it for 75 year old roommates!
This guy, is the fuckN best 💯
Brilliant!
Awesome!
I will never hear the words 'donkey hammer' quite the same ever again.
that was great!
Dude! Jodie did better than many snl hosts ever did! She killed that shit! Also dorky Phil is hilarious as always 😅
Great stuff!!
Why isn’t he wearing a Grateful Dead sweatshirt?
The poor woman had to have a heart attack when he pointed her out.
Genius
I couldn't stop laughing 🤣 😆
OMG! If not the voice, I would never recognize the man!
I'm going to use that carcass line
What did he say? I didnt understand
Definitely shades of Kyle Mooney! Fantastic segment.
This is the best
I already had the Best … good bye Donkey Hammer 😂
That poor woman
She looked soooo embarrassed.
First time I've ever seen Winnipegers who needed more beer.
I got to be the 500th like. It only took 6 years.
i was wondering how that went, i've seen phil try to get another girl to read but she declined and he just scrapped it.
More people have a phobia of public speaking than of death, from what I remember!
@@Alvan81 i'm one of those people, played in a band for years and NEVER got over stage fright, it's debilitating.

@prisonersforprofit Too many parents rely on negative reinforcement. I'm glad you were able to get past some of that!
Hahahahahaha Donkey hammer 🔨 lmfao 🤣
Long live Donkey Hammer!
She looked so uncomfortable.
She’s clearly Canadian Jody
Jodie qas awesome 😂
You are a lot better now…👍🏼
It'd be even funnier if the paper was blank cus, you know, he can't read
He got so much better comedically over years, he was pretty bad here, hard to believe its the same person
He was atrociously bad, damn
Eh.......this style doesn't suit him as well as improv
Everyone starts from somewhere 😊.
She made Jodi super uncomfortable. Phil is great but his obsession with flirting and always talking himself up is getting old

Only to you it’s getting old.
