@@maryjomarch5811 I think all the plants boost the humidity at Animal kingdom. It was only 18c here in Calgary but it felt much hotter because the humidity was 94%. Be sure to drink lots of water.

@@maryjomarch5811 I always say when it come to Disney you need to either pay with money or time. If you are ok with arriving at least an hour before rope drop to ride a major attraction or pay the $15 and start booking at 7am. The same goes for the individual lightning lanes. We were only doing three days in the parks before the cruise so we wanted to maximize our rides.
Love the moment when you both realized this was your first indoor restaurant since the pandemic started!! We did the same at Kona Cafe! Couldn’t think of better places 😁. We Love Yak and Yeti too.
I was a bit slow (not uncommon) to pick up what Char was saying lol. I could not agree more Yak and Yeti was worth it. In fact it was the only restaurant we choose to eat inside. We did eat indoors on our Disney cruise but that is a different situation.
Animal Kingdom has always been one of our favourites. Flight of Pandora and Flight of Passage alone are worth the price of admission. Everything else is just a bonus.
FYI: Yak and Yeti is owned by Laundry's so if you purchase a rewards card for $25.00 you can use the $25.00 on your next visit and also be considered a VIP customer and get preferred seating at all Laundry restaurants even out of WDW! You can use the card at Bubba Gump Shrimp, Rain Forest Cafe', and T. Rex.
It is our happy place for sure . I am calm because for the most part I know how long it takes to get from A to B at all the parks. But our days are pretty crazy when we are there. Yak and yeti is for sure worth a visit if you can get a reservation.
What timing to capture the bird getting the lizard! Never noticed the bird on a stick before. And I think we’ll have to try Yak and Yeti in Sept. one of those restaurants we’ve somehow never been to.

I honestly think merchandise is too expensive we cut way back in what we bought. When it comes to Genie+ at the parks is just a choice of paying with time or buying genie+ and individual lightning lanes. I don’t like it but that is the way it is.
The prices for all that Disney merchandise is ridiculous.. I would rather spend my money on good food at Yak and Yeti. I know sometimes there is something you must have and as long as it doesn't cost a fortune, then go for it. Can't wait for the cruise videos! Peace
Yak and Yeti looked delicious, especially the noodles. Loved the video! I have never been to AK but i hope to some day. Also, Chris - I tried out your keto friendly beef patties with mushroom sauce, just added french fries instead of cauliflower tots so I guess I de-keto'd it, but omg it was so good, especially the sauce. I was never fond of mushrooms but I saw your vid and it made me try them out again, and I'll be buying again. I quartered the recipe and had enough for a good two meals, thank you sm
I don't blame you for not being able to eat your entire yak&yet meal. we find portions here (Montreal) big. When we get to disney we try and split meals as much as possible because it's just too much food. we want to try everything though but we try and be remember there is no way we would finish it. especially in florida heat
We do too but that one was extra big. 2 mains and a rice and that was enough for 5 people at least lol. The heat doesn't help for sure. But it was great and I don't regret it at all.

I highly recommend Yak and Yeti but it can be a challenge to get a reservation.
