    I love this part 4:31 ... everyone in Korea is an Alcoholic they drink every day and they drink until they are drunk. They just can not understand anyone that does not drink. I am a Christian I also do not drink for religious reasons. Most people think it is ok to drink if you are a Christian but it is not. God says you should not drink until you are drunk and if you do drink there are restrictions. Wine should only be drank to cure deep sorrow like when a family member dies. Hard Alcohol should only be drank for medical reasons. I do not drink at all but the reasons for alcohol in the past was for water purity too. Alcohol will kill bacteria and other harmful things in water. It is like pork. The bible says you should not eat pork because it is an unclean animal. The reasoning behind that is religious because of what the pig represents but also medical because pork can often cause food poisoning if not cooked correctly.

      In the Islamic religion, alcohol and pork are forbidden because according to the discovery of science, there are harmful viruses and bacteria in pork. How do you eat pork when it feeds on filth... Praise be to God for the blessing of Islam.

      I also noticed that she didn't correct this notion, cause not only Christianity but also Jewish religion doesn't allow alcohol. The Angel Gabriël even said to the prophet that a country that makes their national drink alcohol is a country that will collapse eventually. After the prophet a.s. took milk as their national drink instead of alcohol. So if even an angel who can't lie says something like this, there is a reason to pounder about the use of alcohol for entertainment purposes 🤔

      @@Lovely_Lady34 one thing that is difficult to understand is Arab and Islamic countries have very strict laws about the use of drugs like Opium but Afghanistan produces 97% of the world's Opium Poppy for Heroin Manufacturing. How do they justify this? I understand its so they can make money but heroin is ruining people's lives. Korea has strict laws against drug use but everyone uses Alcohol. It is foolishness. so many people ruin their lives and drugs or alcohol do not make you happy. Whether you are a Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Shinto, Christian or you have no belief... drugs and alcohol will only make your life worse.

    • @dakaodo
      @dakaodo Місяць тому +13

      Speaking as a lifelong atheist, I'm not convinced that atheist rationality has been a solid net positive for humanity's performance on this planet, any more or less than any religion has been. Atheist want to BELIEVE we are more rational, logical, intelligent, etc etc but ultimately we are still the same hormone-driven meat computers that our superstitious, devout ancestors were. Same hardware, different software and OS.
      Non-religious secular movements have given a lot of momentum to physical and social sciences, but what material impact or changes has this had on human populations? The sciences have given us a much better understanding of our world, geology, weather, biosphere and ecosystems, the place and impact of human activity within these systems, as well as the impact of human choices on human populations and individuals. But has secularism positively moved the needle on wealth inequality, have versus have-not (developed versus underdeveloped) nations, healthcare and overpopulation, climate change and mitigation?
      I'd argue that while there are many dedicated individual people who have become experts in these and many other topics, none of these people have been able to halt or reverse primal human tribalism and greed. Corporate exploitation and wealth aggregation still dominate any society today just as it did 700+ years ago during the European Renaissance or any other point in pre-industrial society. Arguably industrialization has done far more to provide tools of leverage that accelerate and exacerbate these behaviors, and industrialization isn't a religious belief or movement, last time I checked.
      Look at the most non-religious states in the world. The Soviet Union called the tsars' brutal excesses amateurish and went all-in on methodical purges of its own people. China took a huge hit to religiousness thanks to its 20th century shenanigans. The Cultural Revolution was an explicitly anti-capitalist and anti-religion government policy that saw millions of people killed through policy, famine, cannibalism in a few cases, and tens of millions more forcibly displaced. WW 2 Germany saw some interesting attempts to distort, exploit, and eliminate religion for political control of the population. And all of these events had secular apologists using quasi-scientific reasoning to justify them.
      Even today, after a century of broadly declining religious belief in industrialized states, all it took for xenophobia and extremism to see a resurgence was approximately 2 generations without periodic, massively traumatizing conflicts to teach everyone a hard lesson on why violence is bad. (referring here mostly to Europe and the US; not as informed about other developed countries or regions) As soon as personal, firsthand experiences of death and deprivation were unloaded from our collective RAM, the meat computers defaulted back to factory settings.
      On any continent, in any period of history, I think you'll find humans doing whatever they want first and foremost, then backfilling their rationale for doing so. This rationale will conveniently use whatever religious or non-religious concepts they can hammer to fit their purposes.

    • @Lovely_Lady34
      @Lovely_Lady34 16 днів тому

      @@dakaodoAgreed on most things that you have said. Still there are aspects within religion that make the grass greener on their side. It's that there are different types of rewards that you can receive when you avoid sins (which these days science can back it up to be the better option from which psychology and sociology roots can be found back within religion) and doing good deeds. There are guidelines that show how to not only treat others but when they work for you, what is considered a humane income and what is considered exploitation. Furthermore the different things all humans are struggling with can be categorized within four groups from which you can read the tafseer (deeper translation in surah Kahf -> try looking this up!) belief (story of the cave), wealth (story of the wine garden), knowledge (story of prophet khidr with prophet Moses) and justice (story of Dhul Qarnain).
      Other than that I stand by your side in your thinking pattern 😊

      Try looking up the story of the prophet Lut in which the people in the city Sodom acted against God's wishes after decades of corruption causing havoc there and the only barrier they still hadn't crossed was regarding the topic you are very interested in. There you will find that the first ones who committed these sins, didn't do it because they felt like xyz but because they just wanted to defy God. That was the first time this sins was acted upon and after that people do what people do, they follow without really realizing why and the ones after that try to find some kind of reasoning why how so etc... So when this type of stuff comes across we know that the society that is dealing with these types of transgressions are already in the fase of collapsing. When you have a relationship outside what God has permitted it is an indicator that there are many societal problems in which traumas that have reached the levels of generational traumas. It's a very heavy test for them as they do not realize the background story regarding how their actions portray only in societies that deal with certain problems that are not being properly addressed.
      Keep in mind that doesn't mean that they should be killed etc... That is also a very wrong approach but that regardless of their choices we need to keep treating them as humans like every other person around the globe. 😊

      @mivey_ Місяць тому +1

      With different culture and countries ofc theres difference about what they call a "hijab". Religions and culture still often goes hand in hand. In her country its not an islamic rule but more about country's law, even tho youre not muslim you still have to wear it. Thats why their version of hijab might look different than the one who follow islamic rule and for them it can be used for fashion item.
      And then again, theres many people who only follow some of islamic rules. Like some muslims think that cigarettes is haram but many dont, some muslims think music is haram while some are not, some muslims dating around even tho thats not allowed. Its like that with hijab, its differ for everyone regardless of their belief and cultures. Even in many countries theres many muslims who doesn't wear a hijab, and while some people considered it haram from their understanding of islam, its still their choice and its their own business with Allah.
      But i understand what you mean, theres a different name for all kinds of hijab but many people called anything a hijab as long as it cover hairs.

    All of these people seem like such wonderful people to be talking to- as an atheist. Especially hearing about how accepting they are of other practices around them. I doubt any of them would see this, although for the atheist question, my answer would simply be that I have seen plenty evidence of humans believing in religion/god/gods throughout history, but I've simply never seen evidence of any god or deity individually. I do love learning more and seeing such accepting religious folks though, especially with how many Christians here in America act. Very refreshing, best wishes to all the people in this video, and I hope they keep their open yet positive minds. 🫶

    • @Lovely_Lady34
      @Lovely_Lady34 15 днів тому

      Thank you very much for your insight, I can see where you are coming from and this is also the arguments that I usually hear from many atheists. It's that there was a time in my life I stood in front of the same situation and luckily I chose to understand why God created all this darkness. It took me many years to understand as someone who is born and raised in this religion, so I see your points. When I really went deep into this and saw that light is more vibrant in times of darkness as its light illuminated everything in a different way than in broad daylight. Next to that when I hear that God says that everyone will be tested on their belief and some get tested with poverty sickness, injustice and more things like evil being done to them, while others get tested with richness, overindulgence, abundance etc... Have you heard those many celebrities that make it eventually tell you that although they have all the riches of this world and can do whatever they want they still feel empty inside as if something is missing. They either live with it or go on a journey to find the things which fills them up inside and makes them truly content. Something that isn't temporarily and doesn't need continuous care. Usually they end up becoming religious as that whole in their heart is a special spot only reserved to the king of kings. Think about this one for a minute and please give me your thoughts on it. When you were trying to get your degree, didn't you had to work hard to get that degree and didn't you make different examens to show you are worthy of that diploma. Well that is the same concept you are dealing with in this life. This life is a test and different problems occur in your life that you need to solve as best as you can without the help of your teacher giving you those answers. You can do good but you can do evil and this is a life choice everyone of us have to make every single day. We don't always see its value unless we see this life as an exam to receive a place in heaven. Just like every other subjects, there are going to be those who fail their exam and get lost while causing havoc in your life. That is basically why the world is getting worse and worse, because we don't only make more wrong choices but also don't keep informing each other about this knowledge. Cause knowledge not practiced is either going to be forgotten or twisted in some way or another. So that is why we say why do bad things keep happening and God doesn't do anything against it. Because we are being examined to either fail or pass to get our ticket to heaven.

      You shouldn't say that, as even in religious texts mentions that God reacted people different from each other so that we can learn from each other. Atheist look at things from a different perspective and it's our challenge to sit down and talk with them to not only understand their viewpoint but to help them by giving a nudge into the viewpoints they can't see without conversing with us. I am grateful they exist and they ask questions and look at things differently that helps me look things up more in depth than not which gives me more enlightenment to understand what God really is saying in his scriptures. We need each other and eventually if we are able to create that utopia which one day will be concurred by working all together, we might be able to appreciate our differences more as they help us navigate towards the straight path. Seeing them as different viewpoints when working together makes the whole house complete instead of looking just at the front or back of the house as the ultimate truth.
