There is something profound to be said about the marriage of music and artistry. Movies like this one bring such a sense of realism to their worlds that is hardly expected and seldom obtained. While the artistry is fantastic in Kimi no Na wa, it is the music that brings the whole movie together and leads the viewers to places they could only dream of visiting. When I first watched this film, I found myself whisked away to a land that is alien to me, but still homey in a way that I couldn't understand. It is truly amazing what the mixture of music and artwork can achieve; something many people have found out firsthand with Your Name. I couldn't possible give my entire accumulation of thoughts in this single comment, but I can tell you that this film has left a mark on me that I have only felt a handful of other times. The pieces that you chose for your arrangement were, without a doubt, two of my favorite tracks and really represent the movie as a whole (though there are others to listen to as well). You chose a well respected and high-expectation film to arrange from and you met and exceeded my wishes, so if that's any measure of your talent, you should hold your head even higher. Thank you for the beautiful arrangement and the dedication to your channel, as I know UA-cam tends to be hard on smaller content creators. It's been a wonderful ride so far and I can not wait to see and hear what you have for us next. Have a fantastic day and as always, good luck in all your future endeavors. P.S. Try not to cry too much ;)
Casey Collier Hey Casey! I couldn't say it better myself, Your Name is such an fantastic film because everything is so amazingly well put together. Especially the music which blends perfectly with the art. Wow thank you so much Casey, it really means the world and I'm glad to know you enjoy my content. Good luck with your future Endeavors!
You are welcome, my friend. There are plenty of things to say about Your Name, however, composing music is by far one of the best ways to show your appreciation. I'm truly glad that you chose these two tracks because they do represent some of the best work from the movie development. I'm sure you had quite a fun time arranging the pieces as well which makes the whole process much more enjoyable. Have a wonderful day Johannes and I'll be waiting for your next great accomplishment :)

If you have not yet, check out A Silent Voice! Also, Belle is really good too. Those two are good animated films. I want to watch Turning Red as well. I do want to watch Arcane at some point because I used to play League of Legends a lot back in 2010-2015 or so. I still dabble in the game, but I don't really play it all that often anymore. Finally, Gran Torino is another great choice. A very effective and introspective look on "masculinity" and is one of Clint Eastwood's last acting roles where I can believe his character.
