I've been listening to the Ori and the Blind Forest OST a lot lately! It really brings the game to life, and it's very rare you hear a OST which actually manage to capture the movie / game this well.
I wasn't planning on uploading this actually, the past days I've been arranging different ori and the Blind Forest soundtracks for fun on piano. When I noticed that Light of Nibel had the same chord progression through most of it's track, I decided to try and recreate the strings and drums, and playing my piano arrangement to it. I later got more and more ideas on how I could improve the orchestral arrangement, so I added more drums, brass, strings etc. With no intention to actually upload it or make a whole arrangement of it, but I just got more and more ideas on how I could improve the track, and add different sections to it. So it didn't took long before I had a complete track without even realizing it haha. So... here it is!

Why does UA-cam take so long time to recommend this masterpiece to me. It was really amazing
0:18 always makes me burst into tears. It reminds me of that fateful moment where Ori experiences the cold, dark,lonely, unforgiving night cripples her into a helpless state of fear and sadness, realizing that she's all alone after losing her lifelong best friend and companion. After this, she fights every day to become a stronger warrior and battles her fears and overcomes immense challenges and hardships. It's tough to put into words how breathtaking this work of art is, and how inspiring this game is on a life level.

This 3 minutes of beauty perfectly captured the whole story and beauty of the game that is worth of 5-7 hours of gameplay. Gosh. So much beauty. Beauty.

Seriously, how did I not see this six and a half years ago!?!? This cover is definitely the best I've heard so far, and it really captured the emotion displayed by Gareth Coker himself. I love how you added more ambiance and strings as the cover went on. Adding the actual gameplay on top left me with so much nostalgia I was resolved into shivers. Thank you for this amazing moment.

I dont know how, but pianos are so good at portraying emotion in songs, and this cover is a testament to that, it captured the hardships and struggle ori had to go through to a tea.

I hated the Ginso Tree level, and then (after dying 30+ times before beating it) I started to love the level. I think that's called traumatic bonding >__>. The game certainly had spikes of difficulty (ginso tree, falling ice caverns, lava rush) for an otherwise mostly even challenge. Loved nonetheless, in part due to the music.
