My DAILY dream bike, for riding all over metro Detroit, is the Escape R.
comparing a $4500 bike to a $11500 bike so almost 3X as expensive. I think a fair comparison will be the Storm once its released but even then the Storm cost only $8500. Regardless.....thanks for taking the time to make the videos, we love it.
Wow that was a great breakdown. I'm happy with my tricked-out Talaria MX4s but I do miss having a clutch. I'd like to try an EM one day. Very informative; thank you!
Great video!!!!! I had a Sur Ron and now have the EM Race, my wife is on the youth size Segway (SurRon) that I upgraded the controller and battery to the X 60v and she loves it!!

Totally agree with your comments. When you do the fun stuff, technical tight single track, hopping logs and rocks, Escape will wear you out long before battery goes. Riding open trails, not much fun anyway, but yes, wide open she will burn out pretty quick. But she still shocks me how long she lasts.
And batteries will just get better and better!
Love the content. Do you know if there is a seat kit option other than the jitsie strap on seat. For the e pure race
EM needs to make a full size bike next. No reason not too. They could dominate the Enduro Market.

they were both ordered on March of 2021. showed up in October i believe. they waited awhile

Got a surron and love it. It's kind of converted me away from my xr250l. I take it out on some challenging mountain bike trails and it's a blast. Waiting for road legal talarias to be available and going to get my partner on the surron to enjoy going out for a ride. It's just so much fun.

Sweet video. I have the Electric Motion Escape R and I thought red mode was the easiest mode lol. =Whiskey throttle on concrete...pulled a crazy wheelie and landed on my face, thank God I was wearing my helmet ⛑️ 🪖 😅
Yeah red mode can be scary! Haha you would think green means GO!

I knew my Escape was awesome i just didn't know how lame a Surron was. I can't say enough about my Escape, made lots of videos this summer. It blows away ktm300 too IMO in terms of fun factor. I rode tons of trails no ice machine could get away with publicly (noise, people) and technically.

For sure EM is a better built bike but I have a question about power. How does you EM Escape compare in acceleration with a 72v Surron (not top end)?

wait, 4 hours on the EM? What do you think what kind of range can you get out of the EM Escape if you ride it on the roads only withing the speed limit and careful? I mean I am interested and I would have to do some 4h street riding course when I would get it.

No comparison, who actually needed this video? The sur Ron Is and always will be a toy. The emotion is a damn motorcycle.

yup it sure is diving in! but lots of used ones coming up for sale. they are the best e bike experience currently in our opinion
for the price of the escape r your better off modding the Surron and it will be faster cheaper
If you are looking for top end speed and that’s it yes. But for a off-road machine you can’t throw enough parts at a surron to make it better then the EM

@@Idabro they have one with a clutch in the works so I'm told and a road legal version with lights etc

I had both bikes also. 2 completely different levels of bike. Throw another 7-8k at the surron its pretty comparable in the dirt. Surron makes it up the higher speed hills better than the em. But the suspension will always be the down fall on the surron.
For us you can’t throw enough money at the sur Ron too make it close. for the low end tractability. Plus the clutch on the EM is mint for the technical stuff. Plus the tire width, and the sur Ron’s would break a lot after being upgraded
@@Idabro yup, i still have my em. Perfect for exploring in places a gas bike would get called on in like 5min!! Lol. But yea, throttle delivery is top notch! Can feather it over some sketchy off cambers.
