man, while EA launches half done games at the price of two well done games, rockstar is recording TWO VERSIONS of each damn dialogue line in this game, just for the sake of being realistic about characters yelling louder when far away in conversations, this detail is one of the most impressives to me, since I'm a developer and some details cost you more than others, but having to record EVERY line of dialogue with a normal voice and a louder yelling voice means that they spent about the double of money in voice acting (which means dozens of thousands of dollars for a game this size) just so you can feel a bit more immerse. There is another detail I found was that sometimes you will find homeless people that say that are blind and veg for money. Sometimes they say the truth but otherwise times they are lying, you can check this by aiming your gun at him. If he is not blind he will get scared and after sometime he will admit he isn’t blind and walk away.
Try going into 1st person and look at their eyes..Rockstar made it clear that the blind fellas are the ones with clouded eyes which is one hell of a detail to add in! It's the little things in his game for sure!

You know, of all the details that I’ve seen posted on UA-cam, the biggest detail of all that was most impressive to me, was the natural hair growth over in-game time passed. This really makes the character feel very alive and more human. I have never really seen such affect play a role in any other game. And I would love to see more of this in future rockstar games. Such as red dead redemption three and Grandtheft auto six.

I accidentally hit a dog with my horse the other day right outside of Saint Denis. I never re-load any of my games no matter what happens, so it's more immersive. It fled away from me and was dying and I didn't know what to do, I tried to save it somehow but couldn't. Crazy how a game got a genuine reaction out of me like that, one of the best games ever made.

I was hunting in the game. I’m an animal lover so I don’t hunt irl. I thought it would be one quick shot and be over with but the wounded animal thing happened and I teared up. I pulled out my revolver, aimed it the doe, looked away, and shot. I looked back and it was dead.
i had a similar experience, i was on the path to 100% the game and i came across that cabin with the black father and his son nate, I didnt care about honor at this point so i just killed the father and left his son, hearing the terror in his voice and him trying to hide under the bed honestly made me feel terrible for a good week afterwards

I think it is some audio effect applied to the dialogue. They created an effect that modifies the voice when you are far and sounds pretty convincing like the character is raising his voice. It's is pretty much like when you are drunk, or in a tunnel or cave in other games. It is the same piece of audio with some distortions and shit. Well, I don't know. Sure Rockstar can pay a few sound engineers.
Gta 6 will be tricky to make because the next gen consoles arent that powerful to maintain rdr2 at 30 fps. The ps4 pro goes below 30 fps in some crowded places. So imagine driving with 100mph in gta 6 in a city with cops chasing down. Especially online would be laggy as hell.
7:53 speaking of that, I always run into the gunsmith’s door(idk why but a I love running into doors) and he’s always like “I better not see that attitude around here anymore” or something like that...
It’s so hectic, you run through a door and the screen shakes and all you hear is glass breaking and the gunsmith just says “oh, I see you came back here for a nice weapon, friend?”
As a former horseback rider I noticed some really awesome details they got right with the way the horse works. 1.) when cantering/galloping, the horse changes lead (the leg that hits the ground more forward than the others) as you turn, and its correct for real horseback riding etiquette. It also changes smoothly when you change direction. They also jump and land on the same lead. 2.) the horse sweat patterns line up with real ones, sweat on the chest first, then around the saddle. 3.) when in colder temperatures, a sweaty horse will let off steam from its skin. Also, accurate. 4.) when shot, the horses can spout blood and will retain a visible gunshot wound for a long time. Feel free to make a video capturing these details if you haven’t already.

HyperDank No I’m not I’m just say that all the kids too young to have played the first one aren’t hyped to play this game at all. They didn’t spend all their time on marketing.
Another thing about your swimming horse, if you have pelts stacked on the back, the smaller pelts, not the rolled ones (least not that I've noticed), they will float up and off the horse's back if your horse has to go deep enough to swim. Happened to me when crossing a deeper creek than I realized and a beaver pelt got lifted off the horse and pushed downstream.
Also, this can ruin pelts/hides on your horse as well. Same goes for your weapons. Spend too much time slogging through the swamps/deeper water and your guns will rust and grim up faster than just using them normally. It's a pretty good idea to keep plenty of gun oil on you if you plan on trekking through the swamps so you can keep your weapons in peak condition.

That's because fortnite is much more fun than RDR2. RDR shines in detail but I can't be bothered to finish it (nor keep it, just sold it). Amazing how a simple game like fortnite is so much better than this well thought out game.
In Valentine city you can see the house under construction(near the stable) and they actually build it. I mean you can see the process of building. One day there are only walls, couple more days after there's roof and so on.

It was an unspoken rule back in the day to never leave the saloon at the same time someone you don't know is. Drunk people were very easily robbed or murdered by people waiting for them to leave the saloon. It's one of the reasons the saloon doors look the way they do. Again, the details and accuracy in this game is phenomenal.

StayEarthly you know what’s more insane? Red Dead Revolver was released in 2004 and GTA IV was released in 2008. Compare those side by side and the development over the years is insane. All of that advancement in only 4 years. Only 14 years ago did we think that 360p textures and blocky models were considered good graphics. Now some people complain that some games that came out this year have bad graphics.
*Red Dead Redemption 2* made $725 million in just three days after released. _"Take that EA and Activision."_ Avatar the highest grossing film of all time, only made about $200 or 300 something million in its first 3 days. Isn't that crazy. Of course Gta 5 made 1 billion in its 3 days after released. Wouldn't be surprised if gta 6 make 2 billion in its first week of release.

You know, of all the details that I’ve seen posted on UA-cam, the biggest detail of all that was most impressive to me, was the natural hair growth over in-game time passed. This really makes the character feel very alive and more human. I have never really seen such affect play a role in any other game. And I would love to see more of this in future rockstar games. Such as red dead redemption three and Grandtheft auto six.

I accidentally hit a dog with my horse the other day right outside of Saint Denis. I never re-load any of my games no matter what happens, so it's more immersive. It fled away from me and was dying and I didn't know what to do, I tried to save it somehow but couldn't. Crazy how a game got a genuine reaction out of me like that, one of the best games ever made.

I was hunting in the game. I’m an animal lover so I don’t hunt irl. I thought it would be one quick shot and be over with but the wounded animal thing happened and I teared up. I pulled out my revolver, aimed it the doe, looked away, and shot. I looked back and it was dead.
i had a similar experience, i was on the path to 100% the game and i came across that cabin with the black father and his son nate, I didnt care about honor at this point so i just killed the father and left his son, hearing the terror in his voice and him trying to hide under the bed honestly made me feel terrible for a good week afterwards

I think it is some audio effect applied to the dialogue. They created an effect that modifies the voice when you are far and sounds pretty convincing like the character is raising his voice. It's is pretty much like when you are drunk, or in a tunnel or cave in other games. It is the same piece of audio with some distortions and shit. Well, I don't know. Sure Rockstar can pay a few sound engineers.

Gta 6 will be tricky to make because the next gen consoles arent that powerful to maintain rdr2 at 30 fps. The ps4 pro goes below 30 fps in some crowded places. So imagine driving with 100mph in gta 6 in a city with cops chasing down. Especially online would be laggy as hell.

As a former horseback rider I noticed some really awesome details they got right with the way the horse works.
1.) when cantering/galloping, the horse changes lead (the leg that hits the ground more forward than the others) as you turn, and its correct for real horseback riding etiquette. It also changes smoothly when you change direction. They also jump and land on the same lead.
2.) the horse sweat patterns line up with real ones, sweat on the chest first, then around the saddle.
3.) when in colder temperatures, a sweaty horse will let off steam from its skin. Also, accurate.
4.) when shot, the horses can spout blood and will retain a visible gunshot wound for a long time.
Feel free to make a video capturing these details if you haven’t already.

Another thing about your swimming horse, if you have pelts stacked on the back, the smaller pelts, not the rolled ones (least not that I've noticed), they will float up and off the horse's back if your horse has to go deep enough to swim. Happened to me when crossing a deeper creek than I realized and a beaver pelt got lifted off the horse and pushed downstream.
Also, this can ruin pelts/hides on your horse as well.
Same goes for your weapons. Spend too much time slogging through the swamps/deeper water and your guns will rust and grim up faster than just using them normally. It's a pretty good idea to keep plenty of gun oil on you if you plan on trekking through the swamps so you can keep your weapons in peak condition.

In Valentine city you can see the house under construction(near the stable) and they actually build it. I mean you can see the process of building. One day there are only walls, couple more days after there's roof and so on.

It was an unspoken rule back in the day to never leave the saloon at the same time someone you don't know is.
Drunk people were very easily robbed or murdered by people waiting for them to leave the saloon.
It's one of the reasons the saloon doors look the way they do.
Again, the details and accuracy in this game is phenomenal.
I would just be walking to the stable and 12 people would get mad then i would have a bounty because i looked at one of them. Even with high honor and greeting they still act aggressive towards me.

StayEarthly you know what’s more insane? Red Dead Revolver was released in 2004 and GTA IV was released in 2008. Compare those side by side and the development over the years is insane. All of that advancement in only 4 years. Only 14 years ago did we think that 360p textures and blocky models were considered good graphics. Now some people complain that some games that came out this year have bad graphics.
