NikkiPhamxx Can you not do math? 10 gallon tank/ 4 bettas = 2.5 gallons per fish. That's the bare MINIMUM. I have two males with separate five gallons to themselves and they love the room. I honestly think not only is it too small for these bettas, but they are all sharing the same water aka filth. I hope you have good filtration for these guys.
You can't do English either apparently. And it's true because otherwise you would know the gallons is not a bunch of room for these fish. I have one in a 20 gallon by himself and he uses all the space. So learn math, learn how to write, and learn about fish.
how gorgeous they all are! i hope someday to have a collection as stunning as these. i only have 3 at the moment (one mustard gas delta, one yellow/dragon super delta, and one mustard gas rosetail) and i can't wait to get some more as time goes on and breed them once they reach reproductive maturity. stay awesome!
@kent peligrino As far as I know, they will. If you're planning on breeding Bettas, then keep the fry in a 55-75 gallon tank and when you notice they are starting to get nasty with one another, separate them into their own tanks/jars but keep them close to the community tank with their brothers and sisters. I have heard that they can get depressed when suddenly taken from their family.
I love all betta's living in Taiwan you predominantly find veiltails male and female but female is kind of rare. You can if you occasionally find Crown Tales there is not a large selection of betta's in Taiwan. Also you can't find freeze dried bloodworms almond leaves and Omega one betta food which I really like. And they don't sell large acrylic tanks they think that betta's don't need a lot of space so since I don't like glass because they're heavy I prefer to use large acrylic critter keepers which actually work really well each of my tanks have a filter and air pump and I asked my sister to mail me betta heaters that plug in directly because the heaters they sell in Taiwan they need to regulate with the temperature of the water and the room and it doesn't allow me to keep my water stable which is probably why out of 7 betta's for died from fin rot.. I also noticed that every time I told the owners in the pet store that my fish had for fin rot at the beginning stages they didn't believe me so they wouldn't allow me to purchase antibiotics. they said as long as they're eating and not staying in one part of the tank they're healthy and fine but they're coloring and the way their fins look terrible.
Awesome video. I hope to do another spawn soon. Although it's been years since I've done one. I am raising a juvenile that I got as a Baby Betta as well. I have a video if you care to see what he looks like. I'm curious to know and love the excitement of not knowing what he could turn out to be. Haha.
Thanks! Yea I love watching the little ones grow and marble! What are you planning on breeding? I have a couple spawns myself that I'm selling, you can check them out @lovelybettas on Instagram. Best of luck!
Lovely Bettas I am planning on breeding two Marble hmpk and have a koi line, but since they have steel blue iridescence I am crossing my fingers on getting a few fry that can potentially get me to a black hmpk or piebald black hmpk branch.
all i said was he looked more like a super delta than a halfmoon to me but when super deltas flare they look like a halfmoon to be a real halfmoon they have to have the 180 spread all the time
ok before i start let me say something i have quit breeding bettas for one reason, it got boring. Yes i know what i am talking about for a betta to be classified as halfmoon it has to have a 360 dergree spread all the time anything under that is a super delta tail or a delta tail anything over is a Ovhm or a rosetail, and from what i saw the betta in question did not have a 360 degree spread so hell if you want to think i dont have a clue as to what im talking about go ahead but i assure you that if took that betta to a show and entered it into the halfmoon competition it would get put into the delta tail/super delta tail section because it does not have a 360 degree spread at all times, and thats the end of that as i said before im done with breeding bettas so if anyone reading this copuld please not comment on it anymore because i am done with being addicted to betta fish
great fish and awesome group of babies. is there really a difference between the shapes of "butterfly tail, delta, and half moon"? if so, could someone explain the finage difference that I am missing? Thanks.
Mark Quadrozzi Super late reply! But a halfmoon is an 180 degree spread on the tail and delta is less than 180. Butterfly is a coloration where the color in the fins is divided into 2 colors.
Hi, my male betta doesn't want to pick up the fallen eggs, there are few on the nest (apporx : 30 to 40 eggs). The female still has a big belly and started to hide. I kept them together for almost 36 hours. I had to remove the female since they were ignoring each other. Could you please advice. Cheers.
You can actually stop the male and female from continuously breeding because they stop to pick up a few eggs each time before they keep going. Just take away the female after the male humps her more than once (if desired)
I love the second one and the pineapple one. Where do you get all those amazing, colorful betas? The normal pet places sell ok betas but they always have pretty dull coloring and look ill. I need a good beta store lol!!
I got these bettas in a span of many months haha, you just have to go often. Also for my stores, they get a lot less shipments in the fall and winter rather than in the summer and spring.
+Kpribbit The betas are nice at my petsmart but I stopped buying from them. Their fish are not that healthy sadly. I found a local fish farm and that's where am getting to rest of my fish. Last time i went they had like 3000 fish :D.
I have a mustard gas halfmoon that looks alot like yours! I do think you should really upgrade to a larger tank. 4 fish in a 10 gallon sounds really uncomfortable, and I thought 3 was kinda pushing it. I have a 10 gallon that is only divided in 2 sections
Yes you can. Check to make sure your fish does not have "fin rot" or some other illness. Sometimes if they are ill they will clamp their fins and they wont be spread out.
Love your betta's! I just bought a male today. I wanted to get another the tank comes with a divider but I was worried they would continuously flare at one another and stress each other out. What's your experience?
I'm going on Saturday to buy antibiotics at a small fish store she's a nice lady and I believe she'll help me my red veiltail has the beginning stages of fin rot at the tip of his tail I keep the water really clean and do 20% water changes regularly for all my fish tanks and once a month and clean everything out really well as a precaution I'm going to pre-treat the other two so they don't require fin rot it's the only problem they seem to get none of the other 14 fish diseases bother them
Really really pretty fish!! I have a blue/red female (sapphire) and a turquoise male betta named turquoise lol😀 anyways I want to breed them! Have any useful tips?
How long does it take to breed Bettas ? I'm trying the thing where the male can't reach the female and the female has a pinkish body so the black vertical lines should show up right? And how long does it take for her to show the vertical black lines?
I'm not sure what exactly he has in it but you can use multiple things to make their water either more similar to their natural habitat such as tannic acids or to release chemicals that are antibacterial or good for growth/breeding etc. This is particularly useful with either wild caught species or larger/fragile fins such as the halfmoons, crowntails, feather... You can use things like indian almond leaves or teak tree leaves and it's more sightly to some to put them in tea bags as you can then just stick it in the filter if you don't like the cluttered leaves look (or if you want to regulate an exact amount each time). One such teabag is Tantora Betta spa.
WOW the second betta is absolutely phenomenal!! I just started getting into bettas, i have two of my own each in a meduim sized tank and was thinking of getting a third. Just wondering.. Whats the smallest minimum you recommend for a tank with a male betta?
Omg I love the purple on at 2:18 and the other colorful one how did you get six females together and where do you get your fish? Ps: I have one betta she is a half moon female and her name is Kawaīdesu which means cute, pretty and dear in Jappanesee or I just call her Bella! :) Do you name your fish?
+XAUMUX NighTSUN (ArcadecontrollerZ9) Females have a white dot on their vent (near da booty) called an eggspot. And they have shorter fins, normally, a more central face and will be a little smaller.
Make sure you have a tank suitable for it 2-5 gallon or more, have a live plant or a couple of fake silk plants so he has something to rest on, have different foods for him (brine shrimp, pellets, flakes, bloodworms), make sure he has a heater mat designed especially for bettas ( can be found at petco, petsmart etc) and lastly make sure he has somewhere to hide like a pot or some sort of decor. Hope this helped :)

This guys is a real Betta fish keeper, that puts respect to his fish and put them in actual tanks and not cups or jars
Thank you so much! I am a girl though haha :)

Awesome bettas! Very beautiful! Babies are so cute. You got a new subscriber!!
Wow! So there's like over 3 gallons for each betta?! Beautiful!
That's so unique! I can't believe you have so much room xD
NikkiPhamxx Can you not do math? 10 gallon tank/ 4 bettas = 2.5 gallons per fish. That's the bare MINIMUM. I have two males with separate five gallons to themselves and they love the room. -.- thats's kind of rude of asking "do I know math"...
"Can you do not do math"... Rude.
You can't do English either apparently. And it's true because otherwise you would know the gallons is not a bunch of room for these fish. I have one in a 20 gallon by himself and he uses all the space. So learn math, learn how to write, and learn about fish.

So many bettas

Your fry look like they're thriving! I want to breed my own bettas once I get a few tanks and another water heater.
i have to say beautiful bettas but the first one in this vid looked more like a super delta tail than a halfmoon
Thanks, but he is a halfmoon plakat. You have no say in what tail type he is, as you have not even seen him flare.
all i said was he looked more like a super delta than a halfmoon to me but when super deltas flare they look like a halfmoon to be a real halfmoon they have to have the 180 spread all the time
Joey, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Joey Kliester #UMADBRO

It makes me happy when people take care of bettas 😊

Shahid Samad infusoria and microworms
great fish and awesome group of babies. is there really a difference between the shapes of "butterfly tail, delta, and half moon"? if so, could someone explain the finage difference that I am missing? Thanks.

I love your orange pineapple veiltail! He looks just like mine. Except Moses is more yellowish and currently recovering from fin rot.
Cheers.
Oh my god my fish look's just like your half moon

She's a veil tail :)
👍👍
Great video. How many do you have total? too lazy to count. as of right now i have 30 bettas and babies
Thank you! I currently have 7 haha.
It looks like you have more than 7? Are some of these just friends bettas or something? :)
I have a crowntail too its a male
Your orange pineapple veiltail is gorgeous..
If I wanted o breed and only wanted to keep 3-5 baby's what could I do with the rest of them?
Feed them to other fish, give them a away
But he said he only wants to keep 3 - 5 of them, he probably can't keep more than that. Trust me baby bettas take ALOT of space
+Lisa Wen yes but just like you said he could give them a way

Can you tell me how you Bred them in new to it
Wow your betas are beautiful and the small baby is to cute !!!!😊
I has a red pineapple veiltail.🔥👊
u need more plant but luv them
I love the second one and the pineapple one. Where do you get all those amazing, colorful betas? The normal pet places sell ok betas but they always have pretty dull coloring and look ill. I need a good beta store lol!!
I got most of these from PetSmart and PetCo! :)
Lovely Bettas Wow you get lucky!! My Petsmart has not impressive bettas and I haven't even thought about Petco!
I got these bettas in a span of many months haha, you just have to go often. Also for my stores, they get a lot less shipments in the fall and winter rather than in the summer and spring.
You can to pet smart in alameda California they got some nice one that were i got my at
+Kpribbit The betas are nice at my petsmart but I stopped buying from them. Their fish are not that healthy sadly. I found a local fish farm and that's where am getting to rest of my fish. Last time i went they had like 3000 fish :D.
Give me some fry. All of them are gorgeous!!
Can we put 2 males and 2 females in 20 gallon tank
No, you really really should not.
I have a mustard gas halfmoon that looks alot like yours! I do think you should really upgrade to a larger tank. 4 fish in a 10 gallon sounds really uncomfortable, and I thought 3 was kinda pushing it. I have a 10 gallon that is only divided in 2 sections
knittingkitten That made me uncomfortable too but it's still 2.5 gallons per betta so it's ok, not good but ok
How long do they live I'm getting ten fish but idk what kind but I love how betas look so I want to know how long
2-3 years at least, 6-7 at most.
How do you get them to keep their fins up without them seeing each other?
Do more videos !!!! :) please
My fish is a veiltale and it's fines ain't pretty please tell me what to do
Well, you can't do anything
Yes you can. Check to make sure your fish does not have "fin rot" or some other illness. Sometimes if they are ill they will clamp their fins and they wont be spread out.
what do you use as your dividers?
I have a rosetail in a 5 g tank
Im thinking of getting a crowntail
Which size tank should i get?
Divide it. 2.5 is the minimum for bettas🔥👊
I went on holidays and came to my house to find my betta dead
my father says no more bettas because i couldnt take care of it
Hi I really need help... one of my betta half moons is biting his fins. How can I help him.
Love your betta's! I just bought a male today. I wanted to get another the tank comes with a divider but I was worried they would continuously flare at one another and stress each other out. What's your experience?
How big do females get
Hi I really like all your Betta and am interested in the 10 gallon female tank how has this worked out and please how did you set it up Thanks so much
sorry to bother but what do you use to divide them
I'm going on Saturday to buy antibiotics at a small fish store she's a nice lady and I believe she'll help me my red veiltail has the beginning stages of fin rot at the tip of his tail I keep the water really clean and do 20% water changes regularly for all my fish tanks and once a month and clean everything out really well as a precaution I'm going to pre-treat the other two so they don't require fin rot it's the only problem they seem to get none of the other 14 fish diseases bother them
is that a tea bag in the tang with the orange pinapple male if so what dose that do for the fish???
cool
I thought betas will fight if they are in a tank
Why is there a tea bag inside the orange pineapple veiltail's tank
Really really pretty fish!! I have a blue/red female (sapphire) and a turquoise male betta named turquoise lol😀 anyways I want to breed them! Have any useful tips?
i have a pink double tail male betta
I though Berta's will fight if they are in a tank together
Where did you get those tank dividers?
There DIY it's just craft mesh
were do you get your dividers
I love the tank of females, they are so cute!
How do I change my name?:(?
Your pineapple veiltail is gorgeous! I'm not a huge fan of veiltails but I really like that one
Thanks! :)
I have one but it's a crowntail
OMG HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT I LOVE VEILTAILS!!!!!?!?!?! Jk it’s your opinion lol
How long does it take to breed Bettas ? I'm trying the thing where the male can't reach the female and the female has a pinkish body so the black vertical lines should show up right? And how long does it take for her to show the vertical black lines?
Your fish are so pretty :) and just curious what do u do with the babies because there are so many :o?
I gave them away :)
Oh, thats nice X3
What do you do with all of your baby betta's? Do you sell them?
Is that a tea bag in the pineapple veil tails tank? If so, why?

WOW the second betta is absolutely phenomenal!! I just started getting into bettas, i have two of my own each in a meduim sized tank and was thinking of getting a third. Just wondering.. Whats the smallest minimum you recommend for a tank with a male betta?
Yay! And the minimum should be two gallons :)
Did you breed the fish you bought from Petco/Petsmart?
That crowntail look like my mail crowntail beutiful fish
The females being together, I was wondering, how does that work? Does it depend on tank size.. or the way the betta’s personality is..?
Omg I love the purple on at 2:18 and the other colorful one how did you get six females together and where do you get your fish?
Ps: I have one betta she is a half moon female and her name is Kawaīdesu which means cute, pretty and dear in Jappanesee or I just call her Bella! :)
Do you name your fish?
Dawn McQueeney putting 5 or more female bettas in one tank is called a sorority.they dont fight if theres that many
people me dividing their tanks and my betta is in a tall 20 gallon by himself
why 6 female not fight each other
Maybe because they are all female i think??
females are a little less aggressive than males.
+selena mcintyre (bambina) really?? I never knew which one is female or fish they all the same as I'm looking at.
Its because females are more likely to luv with each other than males. It doesn't mean females are less aggressive than males tho
+XAUMUX NighTSUN (ArcadecontrollerZ9) Females have a white dot on their vent (near da booty) called an eggspot. And they have shorter fins, normally, a more central face and will be a little smaller.
This makes me sad. i look at your bett's and my betta and mine has damage and looks sad :'( how do you make you fish look happy and healthy?!
Wow. I should have done some research before i got a betta.
Absolutly! When I was a newbie I didn't know what awesome personalities they have. Ive always seen them in a small bowl just sitting at the top with clamped fins looking sad. I did not know that they needed a heater, more space and more frequent water changes. Ive since got a gently filtered tank with a heater and my Betta loves me for it. He's always happy to see me when I walk by.
I don't know why some fishes rubbing nose against glass. after seeing your I m free now.
Omg, your bettas are absolutely *gorgeous*! I would love a betta fish room. I have an extra room but I'm not sure if I would be aloud to use it for fish since it's the guest room. I'll see. :)
