You don't NEED a TV to play PSVR but if you're in a group like that there is literally NOTHING for anyone else to do if you don't have the TV on: the TV shows everyone else what the player is seeing in-game. You don't NEED a TV to play PSVR but if you're in a group like that there is literally NOTHING for anyone else to do if you don't have the TV on: the TV shows everyone else what the player is seeing in-game. I can guarantee the console was connected to the TV the entire time so the others could see what the player was doing. Source: I've worked on VR games.

You know this is a situation where the girlfriend is probably emotionally abusive. Hear me out... let's turn this situation around where it is a woman who has friends over, and the woman accidentally breaks something that belongs to her boyfriend who owns the house. For sure she would panic and get her best friend to take the blame to avoid getting chewed out by the guy. It is absolutely a plausible situation and is made more so by the woman's behaviour. She is clearly dominating (if not abusive), and controls things but probably in that nice/nasty way that Southern women are notorious for. That guy knew (and knows) if he admitted to breaking the TV, he would never hear the end of it and his friend did too, so his friend took the rap to save his buddy.

Whether it was actually raining or not that day is irrelevant if the forecast predicted rain and he scheduled his time based on it but none occurred. Weather forecasts can be wrong so its a stupid conclusion to think he was a liar based on that.
