    Hey Picky,
    Great vid! I learned a lot especially to keep gold corner BGAs together rather than separating the tops and throwing away the bottoms. I have a couple of Kg of tops so looking forward to following your procedure. I only have 3 litre beakers so will do them in small batches to minimise overflows. I would be really pleased to get 8 gm per Kg! Stay well and keep safe!

      Thank you my friend !
      I just prefer to process whole BGA once.
      Exactly mate. You need to do that in small batches its much safer.
      Yeah minimum 8 g per Kg why not.
      Just be aware of BGA quality you sort, to not be chinese from low quality LCD tv motherboards.

    I've seen and heard this before. That gold corner bga top layers yield approximately %1 gold by weight.
    I've also seen a video where 4kg of bga yielded only 2.5g gold
    I think it depends on what the source is for the chips. I have a collection sourced from flat screen tv boards I'll be processing to find out for sure

    Tinned copper?

  • @1lt3r
    @1lt3r 2 роки тому

    You can use francois pellier method for tin
    100 ml distill water
    25 ml hno3
    0,5 Gr urea
    6gr citric acid

    • @1lt3r
      @1lt3r 2 роки тому

      And all tin will gone just like black powder and in this powder inside maybe have little amount Gold particules therefore you need filtering this solution and tin will be in the only solution

    • @PickyPlans
      @PickyPlans  2 роки тому +1

      I've tested this Solution before... That was not able to prevent forming tin white paste (Metastannic acid) completely, when you have lots of tin to be leached.
      Also i recover tin from that white percipitate + charcoal in oven at 600° C.
      Anyway , Thanks for recipe. 🙏

    Hi, How can you precipitate lead from solution?

    • @PickyPlans
      @PickyPlans  Рік тому +1

      Best way to percipitate lead is in its sulfate form. So you need to add some sulfuric acid to your solution.

    If burning the all then we use cyanide method... Is it possible?

    • @PickyPlans
      @PickyPlans  2 роки тому +1

      Yes it's possible just you need do something about copper. There is too much proportional copper amount. , So an inhibitor is needed.
      Also Process is much slower than acid method

    • @bedadiabderrezzak1488
      @bedadiabderrezzak1488 2 роки тому

      @@PickyPlans which inhibitor you propose.

    • @PickyPlans
      @PickyPlans  2 роки тому +1

      I would say MBT or nothing else
      . Nothing is good as MBT you see most of industrial refiners their cyanide bath is exactly colored as MBT is. I mean it's obvious they are using MBT. Another option is using low concentration Cyanide and high pH .
      The is still another option which I'm not sure about , and that's using pure ammonium quaternary salt (not Cetrimide) another salt and see how it works.

    • @bedadiabderrezzak1488
      @bedadiabderrezzak1488 2 роки тому

      @@PickyPlans you mean that ammonium quaternary which is ammonium chloride works as an inhibitor.

    • @PickyPlans
      @PickyPlans  2 роки тому +1

      No ammonium chloride on it's own isn't quaternary ammonium salt .
      Ammonium group should be conjugated with another group. Here is some examples
      alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, alkyl didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, and dialkyl dimethyl ammonium chloride.
      hexadecyltrimethylammonium ('cetrimide'), chlorhexidine, and benzalkonium chloride.
      Probably Cetrimide has gotten your attention.
      Well, if you find pure powder is good otherwise the pre prepared solutions are weak for cyanide
