- Since the digital launch of Milestone Returns: Infinite Edition, fans everywhere have been waiting for more information regarding the return of the Dakotaverse to DC. This can’t-miss panel combines legendary Milestone storytellers Reggie Hudlin and Denys Cowan with the very first appearance of the Static Season One team of artists CHRISCROSS and Nikolas Draper-Ivey for a fun discussion about what’s to come for the heroes of Dakota, moderated by the voice of Static Shock and Green Lantern John Stewart himself, Phil LaMarr!

Static, Icon, Hardware and the rest of the Milestone Universe definitely needs to make a come-back and I'm so glad it's happening now! Also the same goes for DC when they brought in the Wildstorm Universe!

Excited but nervous. Milestone without Dwayne is a worrying thought. But I hope these guys, old and new alike, can make something he would be proud of.

Sadly this won't be Happening the Milestone Characters are going back to their own Universe separate from the main DC canon

STATIC SHOCK MOVIE IN THEATERS
Who organizes these Restore the Snyderverse and release the Snyder cut people to the point that they're everywhere. Who starts this stuff? It doesn't just happen off of one random comment on UA-cam or any social media. I mean I've tried starting hashtags and that stuff don't work. Someone must pay several people to spam to the point where it eventually catches fire and unpaid masses eventually participate.
PLEASE DO A MILESTONE ANIMATED UNIVERSE. HAVE THE FINAL BATTLE BE STATIC AND ICON VS. BLOOD SYNDICATE

BEAUTIFUL! It was awesome to see the team for Milestone Returns talk about the process of bringing back these characters! They've been out of the spotlight for too long!
ngl i'm a little sad that Milestone is going to go back to a standalone universe separate from the main DC canon I was hoping to see Icon on the justice league and Rocket and Static on the Teen titans and see Static get mentored by black lightening and see Supes and Icon interact :'(
On the bright side at least the writers don’t have to worry too much about continuity and can take these (badass) characters into their own direction.
The characters work far better in their own verse.

@@Martiancookiehunter365 The characters don’t fit in the verse because they weren’t created to. They have to be altered so much to fit in.
It’s like jamming in a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit.
@@_Dee2nd You could say the same thing about the Wildstorm Characters, Shazam or Captain Atom all of those characters were also not Originally DC and they like the Milestone Characters fit in just fine and they don't have to make Drastic changes at all to incorporate the Milestone Characters
Peoples are not happy about The New origin of The big bang because they don’t want to see in your comics too much manicheisme , it was not The case in The old ones , so why now ? The beauty of This imprint was that not all black peoples were good or democrat and the white peoples were not always The bad guy. Diversity is much more interesting. Hoping that you will stay interesting and will not use too much stereotype and simplification…..

They kind of misrepresented the people who disagreed with the origin change. A lot of people feel Static's origin is iconic and for that reason it shouldn't change just like Batman, Superman etc. stays the same.
That’s what threw me off, I don’t think they have any idea of how great the Milestone universe was prior to Dwayne’s death. They even projected how Dwyane would have loved to see this-I’m a bit skeptical, considering he didn’t like some of the changes they did on the cartoon.
Threw me off too, as it was not just a case of "black on black" fighting, he had NO choice but to go (with a gun) to take out a gang member who was not just targeting him but making it clear he would go after Stitic's family too
Please, make Cartoon is hive team, just hive doesn't have team titan go, is cartoon hive make evil plan but they fail beacuse other DC hero deafeat they machine.

Milestone team should get some black superheroes Games on all platforms. Cause we need to see black panther Strom black superman static shock TV show in the days. When I was a kid. Please DC let milestone put black superheroes have their own Solo games let black superheroes get some recognition

I will say for me as a black person I couldn't relate to the old version of static shock because of the gang violence thing I didn't come from that I think I can relate more to this new one because there's a stuff that I care about and I never came from a hood. I'm the black person who grew up on the the white neighborhoods
