I have the yellow Elites on my ‘21 Tundra. Very bright, wide pattern and nice cutoff so I don’t blind other cars.

I put a 4banger (NCS wide white) fog set on one of my trucks and an SS3 (pro white) fog set on my other, intentionally for comparison.
IMO SS3 is nicer. I like the more spread coverage, slightly more clear beam.

The most important note between the 4Banger (NSC or HXB) and the SS3 (Sport/Pro/Max) is that our beam pattern here at Diode Dynamics is designed to maintain the output intensity across the beam of light instead of tapering off like other options on the market.
Additionally, the SS3 (Sport/Pro/Max) is the widest aftermarket road-legal fog light option on the market! 🏆
I put SS3 MAX SAE fogs in yellow and white on my daughter's 2008 Subaru Forester. They're mounted to custom tube bumper. They're bright enough to use as headlights. On local streets.
They are indeed very bright! 😎🤝
Needed details on HEAT generation on the front lens, as in the winter, if this is cold light, snow, and ice will form over the lens and not melt
The elite series will not melt an excessive amount of snow, however our Pro and Max SS3 Pods are efficient at melting most snow buildup!
I'm looking to replace the fogs on my 15 Colorado Z71 along with adding a set of ditch lights and rear chase lights. Which ones do you recommend?
Hey there!
We only offer an SS3 fog light kit for the Colorado. All power levels are a great option to select from sport, pro, or max. It's completely up to you.
In regards to color output, the 6000k cool white is a great choice to supplement your factory low beams. However, the 3000K selective yellow is a better pick if you experience lots of fog, rain, snow, or general inclement weather.
For the ditch light kit, you could go with SSC2 or SS3 LED pods. It's completely up to you.
The kit will include our combo optic which is half flood and half driving. This allows for foreground lighting directly in front of the vehicle along with long-range illumination at higher speeds.
We will note, the majority of users prefer the Pro power level in the ditch light location and we advise this choice too.
Finally, as for chase lights the most popular configuration is custom mounting a pair of SSC2 LED pods on the rear.
The recommended configuration is Sport or Pro SSC2 LED pods in yellow for the main beam, amber backlight, and flood optic.

I have a 2020 jeep JL I followed the installations to the letter attacked into the white and brown wire under the fender and hooked up it was supposed to be hooked up when they are on are on them but when I turn them off it seams like a little light bleeds through them with my headlights on when I turn my headlights off that bleed through turns off as well what could this be? I will note that my runner came originally with halogen lights and I used the taser mini programmer to switch it over to LED

Our SS3 Pro and SS3 Max have been proven to melt most snowy conditions, however, some snowfalls will overcome all LEDs and even halogen lamps. There are several factors that go into melting snow, however we have received positive feedback on our Max SS3 pods and their ability to melt a good amount of snow!
Now where does the SS6 sae dogfight fit in the list?
Our SS6 SAE-Fog is Candela (Output Intensity) is going to be in between our SS3 Sport and SS3 Pro. The beam pattern of the SS6 is going to have a similar height as the SS3 Pro but the width is a little more condensed compared to the SS3 fog beam pattern. All data can be found under each product listing for reference/comparison.
When is a fog light for a 2023 Chevy Colorado Z71 going to be available
Our engineering team is looking into an option for the 2023+ Chevrolet Colorado at this time. There isn't a release date at this time but we're looking to provide a fog light solution for the Colorado equipped with factory fog lamps. Thanks!

I just want to be able to adjust my SS3 pros a bit lower on my Colorado, make a bracket 😭
We'll be sure to pass that along to our engineering team! In the meantime, you could possibly put some washers in front the bracket on the bottom mounts to kick the pods down just a bit, giving you more ability for adjustment!

Can SS3 replace toyota Aurion 2016 Type B stock fog lights?
Unfortunately, we can only confirm fitments of US model vehicles, however, those fog lights seem to fit more closely to a Type A bracket. You are more than welcome to try it out, and it those brackets don't work, you are more than welcome to custom mount the fog lights however you see fit!

Why isn’t the elite available for JL Wrangler sport?
Sadly, at this time, we do not offer the mounting brackets for the JL Sport models on the Elite Series. We offer a Stage Series kit that would work great for you!
