The writer's did a phenomenal job with his character progression.
We all book readers could have told you. That Anthony has trauma but he means well and he feels bad about the whole Daphne business. He apologizes. Anthony is the best leading man in bridgerton.

I may not yet watched, this series but based on what I saw in some clips including this one, kudos to the creators and casts of this show for they captured the emotions and that feeling of anticipation/frustrations/confusion in scenes that I have read from the books. Yes, I am one of the many book fans out there.. I would watch this definitely..

Kate Sharma being a badass lady reminded me of Lady AeShin in Mr. Sunshine on Netflix too, there are two Korean aristocrats and the man represents the Japanese Empire since he adopted the Japanese lifestyle of the early 1900s. The colonialist parallels and intercultural romance are really interesting to me, though the colonialist aspect is not very much addressed in Bridgerton

This is a great scene for these two that actually lives up to the lofty expectations surrounding the chemistry that so many people keep quipping about that for me hasn’t been an actuality for much of the season.

This season is so awful. A few scenes between these two are the only saving grace; but all in all, it’s badly written and dull as dirt. Daphne’s appearances are weird without her husband. A solo country week? Get a stunt double to walk at a distance with her. Beg Rege’- Jean to shoot a few scenes, or cut her out entirely.
Eloise is supposed to be the smart one but she stumbles around like a clod harming her working class friend and acting like a toddler.
This seems to be a one hit wonder series.
The disappointment in this season I believe was 1. Lady whistledown. Last season not knowing who she was and her narration was sooo juicy. This season it was not as juicy and knowing who she was just wasn’t as exciting anymore
2. They gave many side stories that did not bring meaning to the main story at all. Like the fetherington storyline was not the best
3. Giving only a few scenes to the main couple
@@itsrosey4826 Yes, you are right. Way too much Featherington, not enough Bridgerton and Sharma. I kept wondering why Kate loved a man who was so set on duty that he humiliated her sister at the altar. I haven’t read the book so maybe he was such a jerk on paper. Kate is much too good for Anthony.
