This set is very noisy when the motor runs. Im glad I got this set with £60 pounds off as I've wanted it for months, but I'll not be using the lighthouse function very often. You can hear how loud it runs at 9:10
Price is super steep. Cost $300 USD, cost $450 in my country, and cost $1400+ in malaysia. Kind of weird that if I work in US can get this set with money to spare. Though set cost higher we don't earn that much difference either. They did not factor in things like how much people earn in each country. It's just absurd to me that a set can cost a whole month salary for a regular Mcdonalds worker in Malaysia. Anyways this reminds me of the VESTA wind turbine set that did not perform well after retirement. Today can still get it way below retail still.
I bought it for a full price when it was released and really enjoyed building it. But I agree it was expensive. After some 10 months I checked prices again and found it around 228-250 USD which is much more reasonable.
Sure its looks good, but that what it. But the Lighthouse from Bluebrixx is way better in terms of Price and Pieces and interior. The Lego Lighthouse is way to Expensive in my eyes.
Very nice Lego set , by adding this one your awesome city will be better than before ... BUT the city miss something !!!!! ... you have everything , buildings and roads , Green camp and jungle , sea and ship yard and beach and lighthouse and underwater , mountain and temple , Park , Zoo , train and station ... but this cool city still need airport !!! ... with this new layout and new tables and new map you can find a cool space for airport and planes (near wall in middle) ... just replace zoo with mountain and temples , then remove other small tables you add on top off main tables in middle ... keep the small tables in right and left corners of room (for mountain and Park) ... remember all complete modern cities have airport only villages don't have airport (if u manage the map of city even you can add space-station with shuttles ready to launch) go for it ... one good scale airport for a perfect complete city

what are you doing for MILS for this set? Are you going to purchase dark blue plates and MILS it?
Looks so amazing gonna buy mine soon
To many other expensive sets i want over this, just can't justify spending and extra 300 on a decent lighthouse along with the couple thousand dollars on the other 5 sets i want from this wave...
This set is very noisy when the motor runs. Im glad I got this set with £60 pounds off as I've wanted it for months, but I'll not be using the lighthouse function very often.
You can hear how loud it runs at 9:10
I wish LEGO made the dark blue baseplate an official product!
This is a beautiful set for sure!
I want that so much, I love lighthouses
How awesome is it to have awesome an awesome UA-camr reviewing this awesome set ehh.
I mean, my first thought is I wouldn’t want a lighthouse without the light. So um yes, love it
Oh I'll be looking to buy this set.
What is the part number for the rock panel?
I bought it for a full price when it was released and really enjoyed building it. But I agree it was expensive. After some 10 months I checked prices again and found it around 228-250 USD which is much more reasonable.
Sure its looks good, but that what it. But the Lighthouse from Bluebrixx is way better in terms of Price and Pieces and interior. The Lego Lighthouse is way to Expensive in my eyes.
Very nice Lego set , by adding this one your awesome city will be better than before ... BUT the city miss something !!!!! ... you have everything , buildings and roads , Green camp and jungle , sea and ship yard and beach and lighthouse and underwater , mountain and temple , Park , Zoo , train and station ... but this cool city still need airport !!! ... with this new layout and new tables and new map you can find a cool space for airport and planes (near wall in middle) ... just replace zoo with mountain and temples , then remove other small tables you add on top off main tables in middle ... keep the small tables in right and left corners of room (for mountain and Park) ... remember all complete modern cities have airport only villages don't have airport (if u manage the map of city even you can add space-station with shuttles ready to launch) go for it ... one good scale airport for a perfect complete city
the black background is actually fitting for once
The price isn't a "little" high, its absurdly high.
It’s motorized, that alone is worth like 60 bucks so really it’s a mediocre value, none the less a good set with a niche audience
@@shipmint5487 its abysmal in value, especially when compared to a significantly more sophisticated and motorized set like the technic airbus.
@@parminderjaura5642 came here to say the same thing. This lighthouse is also the same price as Home Alone but half the pieces and figs, even with the electronic parts it’s grossly overpriced. The battery and motor account for $65 Canadian but that’s still over $300 for this. I tried making the argument it should have been hand cranked but no, it’s still too high. Must be the profit sharing they’re baking into the price.
Thanks for a great look and a fun breakdown!
What a great set.
Such a nice set.
But I am so stoked and the fernel lense (my spelling is most likely incorrect) is awesome 👍 o
