Anyway, they were staying with his friends when she first came to America and the husband’s friend, when she offered to cook as a thank you, asked if she’d give massages instead. It was incredibly awkward and creepy, but she didn’t seem offended even though fans hit the roof. It turned out later, that producers had asked the friend to say it and the couple knew he was going to. The man actually didn’t want to, thought it was inappropriate, but did it to help his friend on the show get more airtime…. So the poor friends looked like a creep when he was just trying to be agreeable.

Actually, it depends on the size of the tarantula. Most don’t need large enclosures because they don’t stray far from their burrow. TheDarkDen TarantulaKat on UA-cam are great resources on tarantula pet care.
They’re babies, also called slings. You are suppose to keep them in small containers until they become adults. It helps them find the prey more easily, and they’re extremely delicate as a sling. If it’s an arboreal T, it can die if the enclosure is too big and they fall. They also stay in a corner since they’re small and they’re trying to grow fast so having it in a big space could stress them out. You can google sling care if you can to learn more about it.

I wonder if they are being coached by the producers. There was a couple on 8 or 9 years ago, the woman was Thai I think and he was middle aged, I don’t remember the names. Anyway, they were staying with his friends when she first came to America and the husband’s friend, when she offered to cook as a thank you, asked if she’d give massages instead. It was incredibly awkward and creepy, but she didn’t seem offended even though fans hit the roof. It turned out later, that producers had asked the friend to say it and the couple knew he was going to. The man actually didn’t want to, thought it was inappropriate, but did it to help his friend on the show get more airtime…. So the poor friends looked like a creep when he was just trying to be agreeable.

Actually, it depends on the size of the tarantula. Most don’t need large enclosures because they don’t stray far from their burrow. TheDarkDen TarantulaKat on UA-cam are great resources on tarantula pet care.
They’re babies, also called slings. You are suppose to keep them in small containers until they become adults. It helps them find the prey more easily, and they’re extremely delicate as a sling. If it’s an arboreal T, it can die if the enclosure is too big and they fall. They also stay in a corner since they’re small and they’re trying to grow fast so having it in a big space could stress them out. You can google sling care if you can to learn more about it.
