😂😂😂 "there's a pedestrian I'm not going to give her eye contact.. if you wants to walk out that's fine if she wants into the middle lane and gets mowed down with a bike that's her call"😂😂
I really enjoy your videos, but could you make one with the Tom Tom (Navigation) because I struggle with them. Please make more videos with navigation.
Can you update us on how Sally is doing with her lessons? Will there be any more videos? Just asking as I find I'm similar to her when taking my own lessons!
Hey Matt, that’s a very informative video! That’s a really good camera angle for the videos. Can you expand on what you were saying at the end of the video regarding letting people out of junctions? Why is it such a bad thing? Cheers buddy.
Really good video as always Matt. From the way you were talking in this video, I gather you're quite fond of your 208. I've been driving for nearly 2 years now and am considering an upgrade over my 2012 Aygo, both in terms of size and power. The 208 is on my shortlist (probably the 1.4 petrol rather than the GTi), but I've heard some mixed reviews about it. Given that yours, as a learner car, probably gets used and abused more than any car of mine ever would, have you noticed any downsides or issues that I should watch out for?
They're not bad cars at all, and I wouldn't discourage new drivers from buying one. But personally, I found the novelty wore off pretty quickly. The small boot and lack of a 5th seat are annoying niggles for me, plus mine has been something of a lemon mechanically (water ingress into the boot, dodgy brakes, needed a new clutch at 32k miles). My advice would be, if you can afford something a little bigger and more practical as your first car then go for it. If not, an Aygo should be a fairly reliable workhorse, so long as you get it properly checked over, and you're not bothered by its "smallness" :P
