- One of my favorite little tricks as an educator is to find ways to sneak technique practice into actual songs, and “O Holy Night” accomplishes this goal perfectly.
You’ll improve your chords and arpeggios with your left hand while your right-hand gets to take the melody and improvise!

Listening to and learning your 3 versions I must say that your interpretation of the song is absolut fantastic! In this song, I start understanding arpegios - played with right or left hand gives the song a different texture.

Thanks for this cool video! I have been working on Oh Holy Night as my Christmas song this year. I started on it before seeing your video.
I play it with arpegios in the left hand but as G-B-D G-B-D B-G-D B-G-D etc. I play 2 notes at a time in the right hand for the first half and 3 from the E minor on.
I'm gonna have to try the accompanying part.
