      Yes it was! Makes me that much more excited to get it back into playing shape, must’ve treated someone very well

    I have one of these with a broken truss rod, going to try and replace it this summer. Looking forward to bringing it back to life, but the potential for disaster seems high...

      Good luck! Without seeing it, if you get the neck off, it feels like the rest wouldn’t be too bad

    Has the top caved in or is the neck pickup ring reversed? It looks very off.

      Yes, it’s caved in. In a different video in the playlist, I show that in more detail. Apparently, to save a few minutes of time, Gibson kerfed the braces and that just doesn’t provide the support they thought it would 🥲
