Finally had a chance to pull the dash apart and hook up the PAC system integration and the F53 NAV-TV 360 Camera takeover (vehicle in motion) module. Also ran some more power cable.
Last night was not fun. Walked out to a lot of broken glass and some missing items. Lucky for me they didn't get the entire system!

Sorry guys i know it's a LONG video! Some of this stuff is just time consuming. Even more with one hand. I went live during some of this on my instagram feed....follow me and catch one of my daily streams from the shop here instagram.com/meade916 - Oh and if you haven't noticed, i have been giving the FIRST PERSON to say FIRST in the comments a 20 dollar bill! If you are a subscriber, set your notifications so you don't miss a chance for some free fan appreciation CASH! Might start doing 2nd and thirds too :D thanks for watching!
meade916 get the smartphone module from Directed and connect it to you smart watch.
Dude you are so awesome. You dont even have to do that for anyone but you are. You have such a kind heart man, glad you got your window fixed but it's messed up that it happened to you.
meade916 the video didn’t come out 4K overall great video
😳😳😳😃😃😃
@@davidmartinez1332 that is because i didn't render/upload in 4k. It's 1080 @ 60fps. Im gonna try the 4k on the next vid.
Hats off to the people who engineer after market products like these man. Not only engineer it so that it all functions, but do it in a way that you wont need a electronics degree to put it all together.
it was kind of a treat to be honest. I always sweat the first dig. Now ill do it with my eyes closed haha...doing it with one hand is tough though.
@@meade916 Yeah it looked kind of fun to do even.
Next video i will try 4K HDR. I typically prefer 1080 @ 60fps over 4k @ 30fps but i have not seen how well this camera looks yet. I prefer frames over pixels but i gotta try the 4k. I will!
🔊Long video but packed with good install procedures! Thanks for rocking the shirt!😎👍
need a freshie man!!! this one is going on probably 10 years old haha!
Hey Steve, glad to see you not skipping a beat on the F-250 install. I was furious that some lazy coward chump did a smash and grab on the truck (not too long after the dude with the key trying to clean out the van) Absolutely HATE seeing stuff like that happen to a guy like you. Your sincerity, ambition and drive (with a huge measure of humility and a humble approach to everything you do) give us all a target to aspire towards. Love your channel and mad props for keeping the shop so busy!
I am in no way a fan of FORD anything, but you can't deny how much a beast their infotainment system is.
Chime in if you watched the entire 34 minute video start to finish. Tell me what you watched it on! The new camera looks SPECTACULAR on my Sony 85" 4k! Tell me where you are from too :)
Only option I had was for 360p. I'm not sure if that's just me or if that's the upload. Hat's off to you for keepin on keepin on with a level head, though. That's a rough situation to deal with!
meade916 stl xbox one->marantz 4k--> LG 4K tv looks better than my eyes can see.
Oh yeah man, NC here. 360 was also my highest option, Note 9 UA-cam app. Hope you updated the PAC firmware and set up the controls and dip switches before slapping it in there but looks easy to get too.
Got my issue fixed....it looks great!
@@jeffclontz3772 it's much better now :D
I really appreciate you still doing a REAL video description. So many of the big UA-camrs just have the same thing in all of their descriptions with social media and affiliate links.
I know you have to monetize and I’m not mad at the affiliate links. I just hate that there’s NO information in the description. Anyway, thanks for the vids.
love watching your shit man, ive been watching since the beginning, your a huge reason why im as into car audio as i am, im obsessed with it and i have been for a long time, definitely an addiction, your an enabler! 😂😂
Yo that blinker camera option is freakin badass
I know I "mark out" and say every build of yours is my favorite, but this one is becoming one of them. I love the newer vehicle Factory Integration portion of these new builds. Gotta get some SQ/time alignment stuff in there.
Takes time to do anything the right way. I didn't even know they had car audio that uses optical cables now you got me looking for it. Can't get a better signal than optical for audio don't have to worry about noise in the signal either.
WOW! The quality of work is stunning. This man takes so much pride in his craftsmanship! I would feel extremely comfortable with him working on my personal vehicle.
Picasso of Audio at Work. Love to see his mastery
Glad to see nothing holds you back!
Bro I been watching you damn near since day 1! Absolutely legendary in my book 💯
You stay so positive and always stick to the plan thanks for great content and I wish I knew more people like you I feel like I would stay more positive myself
Steve those beats nearly cooked my AirPods. Damn!!! Need a new set. ❤️❤️😈
The only suggestion I’d makes was to mark the F R S outputs in the Pac module since you stuck it down you’ll need to peel it off again to find the correct rca output. For some reason PAC resist putting it on the top of the module.
And got to see Baby in a video. Today was a good day.
Got the same unit in my 17 Ford Taurus SHO , you may have to update the PAC unit Firmware and PAC toslink feed is only two channel. And check and make sure your a/c and heater still works as the directions say ur suppose to let it sit for 10 minutes and let the vehicle go to sleep. Hopefully you won’t have any problems . Good shit Steve.
so far i think it's all still working. Good looking out man!
Super tight ... cool to see the integration options. It’s awesome things have come this far You have done it all old school to new school. Not to mention you have done it well. Not arrogant what so ever Class act!!!
thanks James!
the beast is almost ready to be awakened. this system is gonna sound awesome
Damnit boy that's a bad ass setup to be able to see all angles of your truck thru those cameras like that!!!!
Love it when a plan comes together. Loved this video. Keep the content coming!!!!!
thanks Rod!
And you sir, made that look so easy....and because of who you are, it was easy...On to the next video!
Very excited about this build; love the factory integration.
I love these install videos!
Nice work as always!
Thanks for the upload and sharing it.
Ahhhhhh... nothing like that sphincter clenching moment of tearing apart a newish car for the first time!
no doubt....
Glad to see u back so soon man that little set up realy brings out the features of the trucks system man can wait for the finished product
That's what's up man do not stop because somebody tries to do bad keep going man I like the vids keep up the awesome work🤗😁😁😁
Right on my man. Keep your head up man.
Bro, love all your builds but........That Tahoe though!!!!! Amazing color, rims, stance, and that SMD/RF goodness inside, one of my favorite vehicles ever bro! when you built it, it was WAY ahead of its time, and will always be a solid in the Car Audio community bro. Chur bro
All those camera features are bad ass!! 💯👌
Ive done enough cut and splice installs to really enjoy this plug and play setup. So much better.
I love all your videos Steve it inspires me for my builds thank you
Wow that’s dope, these interfaces are getting better by the year!
Excellent tutorial style video Steve! Got to love plug and play components. Hardly any guesswork involved at all. You made it look very easy with each detailed step. I know I can definitely do this if my friend wants this same setup in his F250. Tuned in for more updates on the F250 man!
Can't wait to see those 6.5 move
What perfect timing, The Fugee's Ready or not plays as you are testing the unit to see if it works.
I picked up a PAC Pro for my Focus and its by far the easiest and most reliable device for amplifier integration. Kept all of my stock head unit features and now have great output for my amp going to a Sundown X12 in the back.
That new camera seems to have a crisper picture, You do good work Dr. Meade.😎
Dam bro. Wish I lived closer. I have never seen work like this. Saving for a system already
Awesome, Steve. That Nav TV along with an F250 is a great setup!👍
Just installed my Nav-TV last week.. not so fun reliving that again! Haha! You'll love it - truck should have come that way factory.
Oh, and if you double click the camera button it will show the front camera ;)
Those distro blocks look super nice. Great job bro
New camera looks great man :)
I just got done doing some wiring for the malibu build this is making me want to go and rewire all my amps. I also gave you and Psych a shout out in my latest vid while demoing a classic by y'all. Its kinda cool seeing how far the factory technology has come, even though some set ups give me straight headaches. Integration with PAC and iData are super cool for me. Oh and of course Great Job bro!
That stereo is going to sound super clean. Love audiocontrol products. Optical will make it crisp.
Those extra cameras come in handy with any large trailer. I got one on the rear of my fifth wheel because I tandem pull trailers.
Let's give some love to the Tahoe, still lookin fresh.
Thanks Steve for this video today. I have been looking for options to upgrade the stereo in my Dodge, and the cost to do a new HU with the Uconnect system is a total nightmare both in look and cost (Metra kit cost damn near $500 alone). With this I can keep the factory Uconnect system, while getting the RCA and/or fiber out I will need to run external amp in my system. More costly than your typical RF modulator, but this thing seems way way more versatile, with less modification needed to give me fine tuning and customization I will need for my own project. Glad you did this now while I can get time to purchase this before I did my install.
I need that set up in the cameras for towing.
Looks great, that NAV tv is awesome!
Love the video's bro keep them coming
From ya boy in Saginaw Michigan
Get that 250 done by any means necessary !!!!!!
I love b2 audio amps!! Good job Steve!
Those beats slap!!!!!!!
That is a dope setup for the truck just gave me a new idea for my durango
Even we do not have time, we'll always find a way to get it done!
F250 is going to be on point cant wait...
Awesome series on how to do a Super Duty Upgrade, thanx!
Hey your son is an awesome Bass Mekanik did he ever get to drop His beats are they on iTunes ? Im sure I’m not the only one that wants to hear more ear ripping music from him At any rate .The Ford set up is clean.
You make it look so easy great job like always
Thats just str8 badass man nice and clean work 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey yea brotha what a success! One step closer
Karma will definitely win FIRST every time. Keep up the great work SM!
Looking daaammmmn good buddy.. great work

Legit setup! You are the man Meade
Now that was some serious surgery.
Doc: Mr Meade I have some good news

Doc: she pulled through just fine, she's ready for the next step.
Job well done Steve imma hit you up for some sounds for my girl soon
🤣🤣 that's kinda funny

Super sweet install so far brother!!!
It's pretty badass Steve does it have real-time recording as well that would be badass if it does can't wait for the full install
Ma steve that nav system is amazing I really love it!
sooo sick brotha man i cant wait to buy the same truck and do the same to it!!! plus i want to get a Phone screen mirroring module and isntall it and hook my dash to some headrest tvs and play movies wirelessly through my phone. freaking love this stuff man nice mood change from whatever crackedhead or teenager snatch and grabbed your ish man. just keep moving forward all you can do about it really. i know the feeling. pray everything keeps getting better for ya!!!!
Nice install sir..
Dang they have some sick wiring harnesses now❤️
glade to see the window fixed
Hey that's dope bro keep inspiring my guy
And just like that, back on top!!!!
Damn Steve, it's almost as if you need damn security at this point because of these damn junkies doing dumb shit. Glad to see you upload this video way sooner than I expected, now I'll shut up and watch it 👍
Steve, Like your vids and especially amp tests. Got a question about the amount of copper you are useing to power the amps vs the size of speaker leads inside the enclosures, Electrical theory, amps/volts/watts...it does not match up??? oB
So I know size wire for amperages for building, but have basically wanted to know how to size the wires for car audio also..
I love these kinda videos!
Shaggy,It Wasn’t Me.lol love it.
Sound quality is way better with this new one
Dope vid steve. F the haters that snatch you camera.
Looks simple enough and look there's Baby
good stuff. I'll have to look up and see if that company (or companies) make nice intergrated stuff for my non nav or factory equipped sub Sync 3 in my vehicle. Looks like good quality interfaces.
Sick intall bro as always .
Well done Steve
Do you ever drive the Lexus? It'd be awesome to see an uodate/demo video of it! I know there are tons on your channel already but it would still be cool to see it in its current state still pounding!
Great work on the truck like always! Love watching you do your thing!
Man new cars are such a pain to in the ass to install a system need some many models. Miss the old days when you can get a nice head unit and you where all set.
Oyyye vey as nice as new cars are I miss the days of just slapping a deck in. In my s10 I could swap out a head unit blindfolded back in the day
I have the same air freshener in my truck too, lol. Costco for the win!
Awesome set-up
This would seriously take me 5 days to install all these things god damn....
Just asking if the steering wheel controls is working? Like volume up n down and other functions? Nice n simple for know love it !
The truck is awesome by the way
The Video Quality is defiantly Better!!!
That is sweet as hell!
Just out of curiosity. Why do you choose a nut driver to dis assemble, over a cordless drill?
who cares? i needed the exercise i guess. lol
I can’t answer for Meade, but I catch myself doing the same thing, and it’s cuz I’m old school. I did it for so damn many years that even though tho I have the nice tools now, I still use nut drivers. I also notice I don’t drop near as much shit when I use hand tools. Idk 🤷🏼♂️
I been waiting on this
