how I learnt a snake from you and taught pretty much my whole entire school.
Sarah (without question) has the best attitude of anyone I've seen you play. Aside from clearly being a fun, nice person, she also doesn't spend any time getting down on herself or being negative. She just lets it go and literally bounces right to the next point. I wish everyone had that attitude. So cool!
That attitude is for less competitive players. When you put time hours and practice into something, it's to win so there's nothing wrong with a little edge, but it also doesn't mean you should be a bad loser at the same time.

And I don't agree to raviiee271183. Her skills are quite well. You see that in the rallies where Adam plays normal clean table tennis. Only if he plays his crazy style or his highest level, she is just overstrained. But come on. He is amazingly gifted. Being weaker than him, doesn't mean you're a bad player.
@@melfox215 yep, its also easy to forget how good Adam is because he often plays against people better than him, he can almost hang in there when playing against some pros which is super impressive

This is actually my most regular place to play... despite a low ceiling, I quite like the many things about the conditions, separate courts, the flexible hours and the friendly people there... lots of strong players as well. 8>)

Adam makes this look way easier than it is. My first time playing a long pips player I straight up got 11-0'd. A few games later I was beating him 11-8. You REALLY gotta adjust to that, it aint no joke
What do long pips do?
Whats the difference between a normal racket and one with long pips?
@@arlinddemukaj7218 long pips basically means the opponent can very easily neutralize power and topspin. Also, their balls come over really weird like when the opponent slices the ball comes over with topspin, and vice versa. It's super bizzare and the ball floats a lot too, which means you have to adjust timing.

@@arlinddemukaj7218 the pimples are not so affected by the spin they receive. The ball keeps its original rotation (say forward with a topspin) when returned by pimples, so the topspin comes back as a backspin. In contrast to this, a normal rubber reverses the spin. It's weird, because you make easy errors if you expect normal behaviour from a long pimples bat. This gets even worse with sidespin. Look up "spin reversal".
A decent recipe is not to use much spin against pimples, so that this effect is not so strong.
As Adam loves to use spin, e.g. his snake, I was expecting very funny balls.

Adam's videos are great advertising for the sport of table tennis. The combination of very high skills and unique creativity is so entertaining. It reminds of the old days when I played with my father who has been a multiple regional champion in doubles. We used to play the same mode, but based on sets to 21 back then. We always started at 12 - 0 my lead. That helped creating some competitiveness regarding his higher level of play.
Even thought I have seen the "WHAT HAPPEN" guy so many times, he is still the best. Sorry my English is not very good.

The snakes are so much fun. I used to play a lot, and there were only a couple of people that ever tried that against me. The first time it happened I was focused on the ball, because I'm in the habit of watching that instead of the person. In the background I see some weird movements, and mid hit I said "What are you doing?" The other guy said "Oh, you hit it." I said yeah, but still- what was that? It was an attempt at the snake and it didn't work so well.
Okay, so Adam is some type of master of the craft. Both of the people that tried this with me were in the first stages of trying to get a handle on it, and they didn't do much of it with me because it didn't work. Nevertheless, I'd like to recommend being in the habit of watching the ball very intently. In my limited experience, that seems to work- I don't even get a good look at what the background movements are supposed to be suggesting.

Do you know which way your snakes are gonna bounce most of the time, or you just see what happens?
Of course he knows but after he makes the shot, he sometimes returns the bat in the exact opposite direction as it comes above the table , so they will misread it.
