I’m bogor citizen, i can give you a perfect recommendation for streetfood. You guys should visit Jalan Suryakencana, on 4 p.m various streetfood stall will come out. Suryakencana is chinatown of Bogor, and there is OG and many legend restaurant there. Martabak Afo, Soto Kuning Bogor Pak Salam and others! You should taste ngohiang too. Surken is a must! 🤣🔥

Ketoprak is a vegetarian dish originally from Jakarta, consisting of vegetables, tofu, rice cake, rice vermicelli served in peanut sauce.
My family really love spicy food. So my mom was always added a lot of chili mixed to the peanut sauce.
Oh also I recommend Kluwih restaurant in Bogor. They served Sundanese culinary. I'm not Sundanese, but I love Sundanese culinary. One of my favorite menu is Nasi Kecombrang. Their veggies soup (sayur Asem) also the best. You gonna love it.

Konro is actually a signature dish from a city called Makassar, South Sulawesi. As you can see they have another dish called "Coto Makassar" on the menu, which is another signature dish from Makassar 🙂

You should go to Gunung Halimun Salak at West Bogor. It's waterfall heaven. Like so many waterfalls there. Because of so many waterfalls, for photography purpose i recommend Balong Endah falls. I also love the left side from the parking lot (i forgot the name, probably Lembah Tepus but I'm not sure, the right side is the entrance of almost all of the waterfalls) it's some kind of river with the cleanest water compared to other waterfalls and less touristy as well. Make sure to bring a lot of 5000/1000 rupiah because each waterfall has entrance ticket price lol
PS: the road to the waterfalls is a bit bumpy. And one day trip is not enough to explore all of the waterfalls.

Soup Konro originally is from South Sulawesi
Ketoprak originally is from Jakarta (vegan can eat this)
Soto Mie originally is from Jakarta too
Did you know there are more than 170 kind of Soto in Indonesia? Sotos are available in many town / region / province from Aceh until West Papua, with they typical and characteristic taste in every town / region / province. Btw why soup or soto in Indonesia a little bit salty? Coz they eat with rice. The salty taste will decrease and to be normal when you eat them with rice. If the salty taste is normal when it served, then when mixed with rice, the salty taste will disappear and the taste will become bland. Btw you MUST try Tongseng, kinda like soto, the taste is amazing.

Wow, Ketoprak is in your heart guys. That's one of my favorite dish as well. I usually eat Ketoprak as my breakfast. Because it has a simple peanut sauce spice. I think you can make Ketoprak by yourself. What you need to buy is only peanut sauce, garlic, salt, Brown sugar/gula jawa, and chili if you want, also soy bean sauce, Tofu, Tauge, Bihun & Krupuk. And You can change rice cake with Nasi...
