This is incredible, I love these MX3s, yours is the wildest setup I've definitely seen, great work man!! I used to have a super clean black '87 Nissan Z31 300ZX that I always wondered how a mid/rear engine conversion would be on it, sadly she got totaled tho. The last 4 years I've been driving an '02 Grand Prix GTP with the supercharged GM3.8 which turned me into a fan of this platform.. This engine has had me wanting to get my hands on an '89 Fiero GT and do the S/C 3.8 swap in the back of her..Seeing that swap here on youtube seems insanely nice, popular swap killing Vettes & etc by a ton on the quarter mile.. The power to weight ratio of that engine and anything under 2,600lbs is downright monsterous.. I wonder if a supercharged GM 3.8 & it's transverse 4t65e-HD transmission would fit in the back of one of these MX3's? Looks like it would, and with fab work anything can be done if the space allows! Would be a rocket with that setup for sure! I'm not downing your setup at all tho, shes sweet & quick!
Oh nonononoo... those taped up conductors and the lack of any grommets at the firewall... you are giving me a nervous gack-attack.. please insulate the wires passing though the bulkhead with a proper rubber grommet, solder the connections, and use marine grade polyolefin shrink tube to prevent the car from burning down. For heaven's sake! Its a very concept, but assembled horribly wrong. I saw soooo many problems with the wiring alone!
Nice build. I own a Black MX3 KLZE. Someone here in Calgary was attempting the same thing but with a different motor. It's nice to see that someone did it successfully.
Cool Brother! I'm from Georgetown Put the SHO engine in the back of a Fiero Was thinking about doing this twin V6 turbo setup down the road Really cool to see more Canadians making their mark on the Auto World!
I'm in the planning stages on doing this with my probe gt. one thing thats holding me back is the shift bars... how did you get the shifter to work with this trans? cables?

Dude this car is ridiculous good
Gas tank, beside an air compressor, with no rad support. A bomb waiting to happen.
Not to mention zero front brakes

Great job !! I always wondered my self how to make my mx3 project rwd I
Want to do the same with Probe GT. Going to keep it NA with front interior. Any advice :-D

NICE! I'd love to see that Fiero at the drag strip one day.
Should join all points where motor mounts and add in front subframe backs in as these were factory structure points to increase ridgity
Other then that amazing build something I always wanted to do with mine
What a hack job...
No front brakes? And driven on the street? Maybe doing a mid-engine on my mx-3 also, but probably a rotary.
awesome cool car but need extra protection all over the fuel tank and it will be just great

Lovely
@Hoonigan
100% clean
MR-2 на максималках. Большая работа.

The Miata doesn't come with a V6 😏
