I could have got the model 1895 trapper w/ the Magpul furniture for 300$ less but I prefer the grey laminate wood on the 19” model 1895 I normally don’t like anything bare metal but the stainless 1895
is Primo for me

Do they fit dark series 1895? Both stock and handguard?
Is there a notch where the tenon is? If so could this could be notched for an 1895 CB octagonal tenon? If so it would be the first option for octagonal barrels
There is a notch for the tenon...for the Trapper..
What needs to be done to put this on a 336?
According to Magpul’s site, you will need a dovetail cut and use the forend cap tenon. Just not sure how that connects to the Magpul part.
Where did the lever on the Marlin come from?
It's from Madpigcustoms, but it's not on sale yet. They said months ago that it was going to go on sale soon, but I've been checking and it's been months so far. Sucks because I really want it.
I’m surprised Marlin did this. IMO- the trapper wood is gorgeous. These additional magpul items make it seem like a Walmart gun. JDM parts on a Benz. The stock however would be super cool on a dark series 1895.
