Fun to see! In the US, Jerry's Artarama is the exclusive distributor for Charvin acrylics in similar color ranges; I intend to try several as a possible replacement for one of my brands over time; it seems to be a very pigmented softer body.
I’m going to France for three weeks this summer and am excited to visit lots of art stores! Your video reminds me of the brands I’ll have access to that we don’t find easily in the states. I’ve wanted to try Zecchi watercolor paints for a while now - your lead purchase reminds me that maybe it’s easier to find in France? Thank you for sharing!
I'm not very familiar with the Zecchi brand, I just knew they had some silverpoint. It would be worth it, if you're in Paris, to check out the Sennelier stores to see if they have more products by them. Have fun on your trip.
Oh you make me want to go back. Paris was sooooo full of art supply places. I went to Passage Cloute on my last trip, Magasin Sennelier (I overpaid for an Isabey Quill but it was bought with XMas money from my dad and I wanted to have the story of buying this brush in Paris at Magasin Sennelier!), Geant des Beaux Art and the wonderful art supply/stationary store of BHV Marais!
I'd never heard of Passage Clouté nor did I know that the BHV stores carried art supplies. I'll have to check it out next time. Thanks for the tip. :D

What a beautiful art haul with non-standard gems of finds. Especially the gouache (105 € online…) with all the extra’s is quite beautiful! Can’t wait to see you test run the gouache. I have the quill with the silver end from Da Vinci, but I still have to find paper that suits it. I will give the Sennelier paper a try! Thank you very much for the video!
