എന്റെ വെല്യപ്പച്ചൻ തിരുമേനിയുടെ കാലത്ത് മാർത്തോമാ സഭയിലെ ഒരു പട്ടക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ evangelical സഭ രൂപം കൊണ്ടൊണ്ടപ്പോൾ അച്ഛൻ ആ സഭയിൽ ചേർന്നു. അതിനു ശേഷവും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രദേശത്തെ മാർത്തോമാ ഇടവകയിൽ വരുമ്പോൾ ഒക്കെ തിരുമേനി ആളെ അയച്ചു അപ്പച്ചനെ വിളിപ്പിക്കുകയും സ്നേഹബന്ധം പുതുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.

മലങ്കര മാർത്തോമാ സഭയെ രണ്ടായി പിളർത്തിയത്.. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ വലിയൊരു നേട്ടമാണ്... ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തിൽ പരം വിശ്വാസികളാണ് അന്ന് സഭ വിട്ടത്... കുറച്ചുപേർ പെന്തക്കോസ്ത് വിഭാഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി.. അതുംകൂടി എടുത്തുപറയണം.. വീട്ടു പോയവരും ഇതേ വേര് തന്നെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു സെൻറ് തോമസ് ഇവാഞ്ചലിക്കൽ...
