Such a cruel end for Ellen Flanary. She was born the year of my Grandfather. Thank you for finding her burial place with her husband. Prayers for Ellen. I am glad the one who did her in was held accountable. I hope Floyd's mother gives him the lecture of his short life, God willing.
This was a real tragedy, may Ellen rest in peace 🙏 Since she has been seen in the area, this might be a good video to show again on Halloween 🎃 Thank you very much Leo and Heather, for another great video.

You certainly chose a beautiful area of Kentucky to visit. Virginia id just s hop and skip down the road from Jenkins. I spent a week in Whitesburg several years ago and did several special education workshops with all of the teachers and administrators. This was a very interesting story. Yes, there is always a woman in white or a lady in white in almost all types of ghost stories. May Ellen and Floyd rest in peace. Thank you for this awesome piece of Kentucky's history.
5000 spectators! I don't think I would have wanted to see a person killed, even though, he very much deserved what he got. There, no doubt, were probably children there too. Rest in peace, loving mother. You never had a chance to see your children grow up, but God takes care in the end. Thanks for another great story from the hills. You two are the greatest!

Thanks, guys, for another interesting story. I hope ya'll had a nice Easter holiday. I would say ya'll were in some beautiful area, but every place ya'll go out there is beautiful. I was born and raised in Texas. My dad's folks all came from Caney, Kentucky, Morgan County. Before I got to thinking about genealogy and where my roots came from, my dad, all his brothers, sisters, grandparents, and most of my cousins have all passed. So, I've had some issues trying to dig out everything. I am really want to travel to Kentucky to see what I can find out and find some distant relatives. That, I guess, is why ya'lls videos are so interesting to me. Please keep up the great work. God bless ya'll and stay safe on your travels, so ya'll don't become a part of history. 😊

He would go around and ask to help people and seemed to be innocent and childlike. He started showing up at the home of Ellen after Art had died. Was said that Ellen was kind hearted to him and accepted help just to not hurt his feelings. That day of her disappearing, she had planned to cook a chicken and went to pick greens in their field, the 2 oldest went to town to the store for her. At supper time Ellen hadn't returned and the children were scared and hungry, but afraid to go out to ask for help. The next morning the older ones went to the store to ask for help, and also to send word to Wise, VA to her family ( Jeff Mullins my Great Grandfather ) and his brothers to come get the children.
