There is a 0% chance of any Arcade tracks appearing in the main series. They were developed by a third party, so they're considered spin-offs. Live: Home Circuit is second-party, and its tracks wouldn't make sense to come back since they're ones you make yourself. Tour is first-party, so its courses are absolutely on the table
Mario Kart (including 8 and Tour) is not solely developed by Nintendo in-house, it's also co-developed by Bandai Namco, the same developers as the arcade games, that's why I think they could still happen. Plus, even if they weren't, Nintendo still works with Bamco regularly so it likely wouldn't be an issue if they wanted to include those tracks. Secondly, I didn't literally say that "the tracks from Live Home Circuit should return", I don't know where you got that idea from. I think you can probably infer that I was talking about a track INSPIRED by Live Home Circuit. It would just be a track that happens to take place in a big house with setpieces modeled after the cardboard props from Live Home Circuit.
Sorry, I worded that poorly and came off a bit harsh. I included Live Home Circuit just to go through all the "non-typical" games. Your idea based on that game is really cool, especially if they go more of the Pikmin 4 route like you mentioned. What I meant by the arcade games being off the table is that the games were developed exclusively by Namco, so they own the rights to the courses. Namco's involvement in the main series is pretty minimal, so it makes sense that the only content we got from them is the Pac-Man and MegaMan Mii racing suits. And like some other comments have said, the arcade tracks' layouts are designed for more realistic driving with a wheel and pedals, so their layouts are all style no substance. Peach Castle is a wiggly line, Splash Circuit is a basic loop, Diamond City is a figure-8, and Pac Labyrinth is admittedly slightly more interesting but still simple. And they don't have any obstacles. They wouldn't be fun to drive on. But that's just my opinion
I don't have many ideas for the new nitros, but I would love if they make the Bowser's Castle for MKX Castle Bowser from Wonder and maybe even a sectional track that starts with you in the Petal Isle getting shot up onto him.
A few Retro track are sure to make it;SNES Vanilla Lake,N64 Wario Stadium,GBA Rainbow Road & Bowser Castle 4,Cheep Cheep Island & Yoshi Desert,GCN Mushroom City & Wario Colosseum,DS Figure-8 Circuit & Bowser Castle,Wii Dry Dry Ruins 3DS Maka Wuhu/Wuhu Loop,Wario’s Shipyard, maybe in A Couple of DLC Cups that later Releases!
I would hate the Arcade tracks in Mario Kart. They are comparable to Super Mario Kart in their simplicity. Peach Castle is literally a straight line. Splash Circuit is an oval...
Thanks. Though it is kind of outdated since I recently updated the robot avatar that I made for Anton Retro (he's the one who was in the kart on rainbow road). Plus I have the other two variations to worry about. Wish me luck.
I mean, just off the jump- I don’t see them doing an uneven number of new and old tracks. Like, I’ve questioned if they’ll have retro tracks because of the 24 racer limit, but I think it’s a safe bet they’ll reimagine tracks to be bigger rather than not do it period. But I have to imagine we either get 6-6 or 4-4 new and old, with DLC all but a lock for a game like this. Also, I’m against repurposing old tracks like Diamond City and GBA Rainbow Road to fit for spin off characters being added, if only because I’d rather they get new tracks so they feel like real big inclusions to the game as a whole. And on that topic- including Wario Stadium, Colosseum, and Diamond City? Like, I appreciate a wish list, but we have to be a little realistic if we’re using these as full on predictions. At the very least, I really don’t want a repeat of 8 where there wasn’t a single Luigi track- make sure there’s variety with the character tracks and track themes alike.
If Mario's render in the Super Mario Bros. Movie poster could reference a render from the Mario Kart Arcade games, they could easily add the arcade tracks as retro tracks. This is coming from a person who hasn't played the arcade Mario Karts.
Personally I’d keep the arcade from returning IF ONLY because then people will start saying arcade characraters have a chance to be brought back and there are way more deserving characters than them(like the RPG chatacters)
Your idea of GBA rainbow road sounds so cool! It honestly makes me think what other Paper Mario locals could be used as tracks. Imagine autumn mountain, or twilight town! Ohhh imagine if they also referenced Mario and Luigi, a track of bean bean kingdom would be so cool. Edit: 25:56 oh ha yes! I love partners in time!
Can we finally get Wario Colosseum back, please? It was such a good fit for Mario Kart 8, and everyone just outright forgot about it!
N64 Wario Stadium is a priority and Wario Shipyard could be a good last cup track so maybe Wario coloseum could appear in a future DLC
Imagine GCN Baby Park with 24 players
please no

Bro was NOT realistic
Honestly since there will be 24 racers now, having every board being 3 laps(yes even the really long ones) shouldn’t be a problem anymore

New outro is great, Matthew did a good job

I wonder how there gonna do the retro tracks with 24 players? Like are they gonna make the tracks slightly a bit larger or what?

38:24 They could also say they had Bowser eat a Double Cherry
I just want n64 warios stadium back
im part of the reecee lore🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

I feel like a lot of these predictions are purely references
41:21 the addition of sound effects made me laugh so hard 😂

Hopefully GBA Bowser Castle 4 can get the SNES Bowser Castle 3 treatment.
Both of them were in Tour before BC3 came to 8DX, with equally incredible remakes
Good video, but I will personally pay for the copy you want to give away if you never use this texture pack again
