    That was probably the most INTJ way of asking for a subscription "I hate asking people to subscribe". And possibly only INTJs will understand this, but I immediately clicked the subscribe button. The latter "Please subscribe" didn't trigger anything.

    If you want to motivate an INTJ, then give them resources and a lot of autonomy. We are problem solvers first and foremost. Give us a problem to solve and just get out of our way. You will definitely get bang for your buck. Just make sure there are no obstacles to our throughput. I prefer to run my own parts on the laser, or 3D printer, or on the plasma cutter. I hate waiting for someone else to do the thing I could do myself.

    Im an INTJ-A, and all too often, I find myself to be the smartest person in the room. Not just by a little. I mean by a long shot. My second day as an intern at an engineering company, I solved a problem that a team of engineers had been unable to solve in 8 years. I solved the problem while at lunch after being told about it that morning. I was with that company for 3 years and generated 6 patents. That was 2/3 of the companies annual goal all by myself. I really don't relate to people very well. They are mundane and resistant to innovation. I love to innovate.

    As an INTJ if I was an employee how would you motivate me? ……. You don’t, you just simply don’t, if I’m around I have already found my own motivation to be there and if you try to motivate me with some stupid contest I will question your intentions and question the existence of the contest, I will likely conclude that you don’t take me seriously and think I can be motivated with a contest and prize as if I cared about the carrot you hung in front of my face, I don’t need you to dangle a carrot in fact I am very capable of getting my own carrots. The fact that you thought this was a good strategy makes me now question your leadership and establishes that my days are numbered as I have outgrown my position here.

    “INTJs come into a situation thinking they’re the smartest ones in the room.” True…but it’s not conscious thought. It doesn’t come from a place of arrogance. It is more like we know we see a process and we have to see if we can improve it (especially when we love what the goal is). It’s like a puzzle. We can’t help but to want to make it better or more efficient. And if we don’t care about the goal, we probably wouldn’t be there in the first place. Even if the job is sticking shelves, we will multitask the heck out of it while imagining other ways of improving the store at the same time.

    The solution is to fulfil a problem-solving role via strategic consulting or analytics. (Think business/marketing/systems/financial consultation, and data/business analytics, systems/data engineer, data scientist, graphics design, design in general, UI and UX design. The key for the intj is solving people's and institutions' problems by creating effective systems, solutions, ideas, concepts or strategies.)
    Here your role is almost always independent, idea and intellect based, you are tasked with creating the best solutions, and primarily objective (no feelings) because you can quantify or qualify why your solution is the best or that it will work and produce results.
    I think that the best person to hire for problem solving is the INTJ. For most roles that don't involve problem solving, it will be unfulfilling for the intj and also a misappropriation of resources as there is likely someone who will perform better at that non-strategic role.

  • @VRIceblast

    We are pretty focused people. We just want to get the job done as quickly as possible. That sounds like someone you should hire personally.
    Small Talk is usually people just lying to each other, and it's a waste of time. Usually if someone asks you what did you do this weekend, they really don't care. It's just a waste of time question. I hate small talk, because I honestly don't care, and have no idea what to talk about. Most likely the person isn't going to be interested in what I did this weekend, so talking about it, is just wasting my time I could be focusing on something else.
    If you put money in front of me, you'll have my attention. If you give me a challenge I like, you'll have my attention. I see money as a means to get things that stimulate me. I see it as a way to have freedom to be left alone to think, and do as I like. If I have enough money, I don't need to leave the house. Enough money for me, means no stress, and I can focus on just being happy. I'm simple that way.
    INTJ are always looking for the most Efficient way of doing things. Why do it in 7 steps, when I can do it in 5, and save time. We look at the Cause and Effect of things.
    INTJ's are just use to being the smartest guy in the room. Yet, we do leave a opening for people to surprise us, and admit when we are wrong. We just update our files, and we are less likely to be wrong again about that. We learn from the experience.
    I can be creative, if I want something to work the way I wish it would. If I understand the job, I would rather be the leader and do it by myself, because other people tend to always slack off, and not do the work. Just give me a list of things to do, and get out of my way, and if I have the power to get others to follow my orders, things would be done very quickly.
    I'm a Computer Technician, I'm all about Trial and Error. When it comes to repairing computers, I have tons of patience. I can go on, and on, and on.
    We like to experiment with ideas. We also learn faster because we rule out things that don't work, and learn things that will, and then we are able to put it all together to make something that really works well. At least, that's how it usually works out.
    Right, we tend not to fake who we are. That's probably why we suck as small talk, because we see it as a form of lying, and we tend to be very honest, unless we don't want to answer a question we feel you don't need to know the answer too. So will just tell you some generic answer that sounds true, and doesn't really matter. Just to move you on to something else.
    I would just record my asking to Subscribe, or buy this to a clip, and run it, instead of saying it live each time. Then it would just be part of a routine to me.

    I think the gamma quadra in general has a certain kind of intensity. We’re not motivated by money, certainly dislike small talk/networking (that’s more Fe). At around 4:50, I could care less about a competition. I don't need to win to prove anything. I'm not going to get involved in the competition at work unless it is something meaningful to me. I could care less about proving my intellect. Now if everyone else suggests stupid solutions, then I have no choice but to get involved to fix the mess they are all creating. Of course that also starts to get inefficient because now I have to exert more effort to fix the mess.

    Having to work in a clunky built system isn’t something that an INTJ would want to do. Ask the INTJ how to build better systems for your business and your business will grow. I can’t imagine an INTJ would be interested in a sales position. Maybe gasoline or food checker.

I also know a person who is an ISTJ, and I literally am shocked at how I probably could never be close friends with them. I would offend him for sure and he would offend me for sure. I am an INFP. I truly am intrigued by the huge differences in personalities of all types. I am enjoying your channel, and I am learning a lot. A lot of what I think is a nicety would make INTJs and ISTJs angry. One doesn’t get to pick their personality type any more than they got to pick their skin color or metabolism. We do get to choose if we can develop to be our best selves. Appreciate the cat for being a cat and a dog for being a dog. As an INTJ I know I’m not the warm and fuzzy person in the room. I don’t pretend I want to be the obnoxious extrovert that had to be the center of attention, but I realize they get get to pick who they are either and can generally appreciate them for who they are, unless of course they try to put the spotlight on me, then of course I’ll call it an early night. Lol

    In terms of personal brand, I guess us INTJs fit well into the sage jester archetype, if they are so obsessed about storytelling your brand just draw something along those lines. The more I listen to other INTJs the more I think the MBTI holds at least an empirical validity. I studied business, but the whole thing was fascinating to me because of its systemic approach, when it comes down to sell myself out in the world I'm pretty crap, or I shall say I can't convey that Ni bliss in day-to-day communication. My first attempt at getting a degree was in Philosophy, and even though I had to drop because of my GAD, I will always have the philosopher hat, always looking for further questions, always being inquisitive. I found a connection in between Philosophy and Business Management, and that was my main drive, but it's absolutely hard to convince HR about my abilities. On a side note, I'm glad to see more vids about INTJs who dont' act like the wolf of Wallstreet, it's comforting to see that other fellow INTJs are emotional creatures.

    • @GhostofJung
      @GhostofJung  2 роки тому +1

      beautiful comment. Thank you. Philosophy + business! YES! I study this so much in my spare time. The structure of business and business models and the concepts...ugh... so fun. I think it scratches a Ti itch for me to understand business concepts, and then taking Te to implement them. INTJs are more influential sales people, rather than classical sales people.

  • @jankom.7783
    @jankom.7783 2 роки тому +1

    Si - Ni cooperation: Ni solves problems that are discovered by Si. Ni people naturally solve problems for themselves by messing with their environment, so their sensitivity towards environment is very low. Ne has to wait for other people to tell them solutions, but that in turn makes their ability to sense and describe the effect of environment on their body very high. So it is Si report of sensitivity on environment that triggers Ni to do something about it.

  • @JeffreyWillis800
    @JeffreyWillis800 2 роки тому

    You don't need to be creative all the time in a corporate environment. You just have to recognize the patterns common in life and business, analyze them, advise others on how to deal with them, and earn respect as someone who can understand complex issues. Then when creativity is really needed, you can allow your mind to wander and develop good alternatives to help solve problems. It doesn't have to be all about bashing heads against brick walls.

    Small talk isn't an Fe thing. I'm an INFJ and hate small talk. Small talk can result from a number of functions bringing you to the conclusion of preference to care about the little mundane things. I would day that Ni fundamentally hated the mundane because it essentially searches the deeper hidden meanings of things and is fundamentally deep and complicated; the opposite of small talk.

    • @GhostofJung
      @GhostofJung  3 роки тому +4

      Interesting. I see Fe as needing small talk to make sure others are comfortable. So we cannot assign small talk to a function? I am saddened by this

    • @yoshiperspectives4880
      @yoshiperspectives4880 3 роки тому +3

      @@GhostofJung Wanting to make people comfortable is an individual personality trait that can result from a number of different thought processes. Cognitive function is only a focus of thought, so focusing thought on the external emotional environment does not guarantee the desire to make everyone comfortable. Small talk is essentially focusing and finding interest in surface level mundane things. This is far from Ni, so accompanying Fe will not likely encourage behavior that directly contradicts the dominant function. I enjoyed the video tho, thank you for the content😊

      @@yoshiperspectives4880 maybe it is more about awareness then? INFJs would not be interested in small talk necessarily because of stronger Ni (as opposed to maybe an ESFJ), but compared to INTJ, they will be more aware of what's socially expected of them.
