You just need to learn any i18n library you want and provide `locale` param to your query. Its really simple. Remember that Payload is admin panel, headless CMS. They provide a FE template, its very kind of them, but its just a template, an example how to use Payload. You need to build your own FE either way and handle i18n in the way you want, with tools you want, Payload will provide you the data in the language you ask it for. But yes, it would be great to have a FE template with i18n implemented, but they are rather going in the opposite direction in v3, templates are much simpler and less feature reach than v2 version.
I 100% agree, looked at the examples: video states no more graphql. Great. But the very first example had graphql. Messed a little with admin panel and i18n, takes a lot of work and I don't really need it. Lack of folders in free version - lost my interest. Entire project feels raw. Caching is not working properly...
I like it a lot but had so many issues installing it in an existing basic Next.js project and yes the lack of tutorials, docs and real text edit was a pain; in the end I had to go the Jack Herrington route and clone their repo and then do my frontend part..
Yh I noticed the constant schema fetching whenever I made a style change to a block or made a change to a collection. Almost like hmr is not working properly. Very annoying
Folder feature on v3 is in development, there is a branch last updated 4 weeks ago. But they are working on it. On their website its not under enterprise section, so probably it will be available for everybody soon.
I don't get it why they are so against low code. We want something that is customisable, we don't want to find out, by ourselves how to do proper localisation in the fronted
Thanks for the plug mate ;) And yes, there are so many old and new payload features that are desperately waiting for content about them haha

I lover these tutorials. Happy to sponsor a MedusaJS tutorial with Payload. Hit me up anytime.
Thanks :) Sure let's get in touch
Great, the collaboration between MedusaJS and payload must be the most beautiful thing on earth
If you guys work sth out let us know, we'd be a huge fan of a Payload/Medusa combination!
wait is digital asset management an enterprise feature ?
@wiburadioindonesia Thanks for the question :)
You can upload the media in free edition, but if you want to make folders that is in the enterprise.
@@thatPayloadGuy oh i see, thank's for the clarification. It's kind of suck because i think it'll be a killer feature for a CMS like this
@@wiburadioindonesia and @thatPayloadGuy actually folders will be released for the open source, PR has been started on

@@LucasMatuszewski Nice this is cool info, thanks for that!

There are other low code tools, this is not low code tool. Its a framework, for developers. And I like they way it is build
new videos soon?
Every time I tried payload, it but all buggy and slow. The UI is ugly. I don't understand how in 2024 people build such ugly UIs.
