Titan T-51 Walk Around and Overview

A walk around overview of the Titan T-51 “Camel Smoker” at the factory hanger in Ohio. This video has some basic information about the T-51 to include video of the outside and inside that I thought would have been helpful before I flew down to the factory. I want to mention a few things- The props are adjustable, not governed/constant speed.
EVERY one I worked on was VERY nose heavy when checked, and nothing was done, just "uh, pretty close" with lots of glances between the company owner and others. (did you see Bill destroy the last one because he hot dogged it an took a T-51 up that they knew wasn't right- nose heavy as hell.?)..he couldn't flair it with the power off and banged it down and destroyed it.. He's lucky.
I would recommend that any work done by the "factory" be looked at VERY closely. I saw things during my time there that cause me to NEVER want to fly in one of these.

Yes. I saw the video. Bill is no longer with the company. I haven’t experienced anything that you have mentioned in the last year i have been working in the factory on my plane.

How tall of a pilot can the front seat fit?

The seat in the front of the mustang is adjustable so I am sure at the lowest setting someone over 6’ can comfortably fit.

Can it do 200 mph in level flight?

Yes depending on the power plant. I am going with the LS3 V8 and cruise is 200
