Great job. I did one set of earrings. Heart shape turned out good. Lot more difficult to set than I thought it would be. Hard to match up the earrings. Gonna be doing my first rings sometime this month. Thanks for all the great information. Love your videos. Keep it up.
Personally, I like the middle one on your finger at the end. However, I would more than likely give it to my daughter, and she would absolutely love that teardrop ring. I understand that you needed to cut them down to fit the settings, but I would much rather make new settings to fit the opals. Especially on the teardrop shaped opal. It looked like there was some fantastic color that had to come off the tip to make it fit. On the other hand, it seems like you did get rid of quite a bit of sand on that other one. Beautiful work, my friend. You keep getting better & better with every video.
So Beautiful absolutely STUNNING GEM

Nicely done bud
The big ring. How do you set the stone into the ring please?
I use the same resin i use for dopping. It holds very well. But heat it up to about 200deg F. It goes gummy and releases.
@OpalOdyssey-ew9gr have you looked into 330 epoxy. It's designed to bond gems to metal. I've just used it to make mt first doublet
Funny how skin color changes once you adjust color settings...
Where do you get your settings?
