YAY! for the Brother. I love, love my Brother PQ1500 of 5 years. Threading it is not difficult at all. I thread mine differently, so it is easy. Although it's priced less, it's an excellent machine that makes lovely stitches. My brother had no problem sewing through several layers of faux leather for a handbag I made.
Thank you for all the great prizes! I use a mat under every machine. Y'all need a mat that fits my 6 needle. I had to turn a mat sideways to fit it. It barely fit the width to include the legs. I just did not want to cut it to fit the desk I have it on. It is dangleing behind it. LOVE MATS
Thank you very much! The information and comparisons were immensely helpful. I have recently started my journey into bag making and have quickly outgrown my domestic machine. It would have also been great to see these machines in action with materials used by bag makers; faux leathers, and different weights of vinyl.
I go to Brother before any other but I do love the Juki TL 18; my Brother PQ-1500S and I have been together for more than 15 years and he is still turning out at least three garments a week.
Watching the show again. Trying to decide what machine to get. I need a workhorse and these machines will be great for free motion and quilting!! I have a weightless quilter that could workwith either. Decisions, decisions!!
Apparently, Juki TL-2010Q Quilting Sewing Machine are sold more and the Brother PQ1500SL is the cheapest. I am confused.. Too many options to chose from. I am not impressed by the Juki DX-4000 QVP. I am looking for a faster machine like the Janome 1600P-QC Professional High Speed S Machine With integrated Zigzag option. Please help.. Thank you
I've been having problems winding my bobbin. It wants to come out of the bobbin tension. I have found that I have to hold it in place in the bobbin tension so it will wind the bobbin.
I have both a Gidget and Gidget II. But what size sewing mat should I have for them? My Juki TL fits on my Gidget II, but not sure which size mat to put under it!
I love Janome, but not being able to lower the feed dogs for free motion work is a deal breaker. The Brother seems the best, but they all have their shining traits.
watched the show for comparisons. I just caught that the Brother has a smaller space to sew but it has that pen feed dog advantage too. Am still leaning towards the Juki because of size and speed control. Decisions. Wish I had longer to decide!
Try to choose based on what you would like to create and what you want to do in the near future.I make all kinds of things but I also started creating handbags using faux leather and leather. I have a Janome 1600pDB and could not be happier! This is an awesome machine.
My brother pq1500sl has been my constant sewing buddy for about 10 years. Zero issues, works just about everyday. Very pleased
I have owned that Brother machine for 5 years now, and use it almost daily. It has been an amazing machine!

I was trying to watch while babysitting 3 little granddaughters. The 2 year old was not impressed. So glad I can watch the replay
Re-watching because I need reminders to get the most out of my machines. Thanks for these demos!
This on was a great show!! Deb teally showed me the difference between the machines.
Had to come back and watch with hubby. These machines definitely would be another awesome investment. DEB is ssssoo awesome and knowledgeable 💜

Watching thr replay. I love my straight stitch. I use it for all quilting and piecing and paper piecing. Always accurate seam.
What you do when you need zigzag?
Watching the replay. I am at home sick. Love the Brother Machines.
Great show & super great machines. Love watching these live 😍
I can't believe I slept through it! Nooo have to watch the replay now!
I go to Brother before any other but I do love the Juki TL 18; my Brother PQ-1500S and I have been together for more than 15 years and he is still turning out at least three garments a week.
We forget how truly versatile those straight stitch machines actually are!
Good show. Very practical

Love your shirt!
Love my Juki TL2010Q
Great features
I love my pq1500sl. It’s lovely
It is better than the Juki TL-2010Q?
@@rhoodj to be honest ive never tried a juki
@@poocky100OK. The brother is cheaper. Even the PQ1600S😮.. More affordable
I'm watching over now
I've been having problems winding my bobbin. It wants to come out of the bobbin tension. I have found that I have to hold it in place in the bobbin tension so it will wind the bobbin.
Can't wait for the 100th SHOW
Janome is my favorite
I have a Juki! I am curious to see what other straight stitchers have to offer!
Trying to decide what machine would be best for my 15y/o granddaughter
I love those tables
Can i ask if you have a ahoot out between the juki 2020pe and the brother?
Wished I had seen the SMP earlier. The sixty nine dollar table is a great deal.
poor BLAINE feeling under the weather…however…it was too too funny the DOOR BUSTER Gidget table deal🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does that PIN in brother and Baby Lock interfere with 2mm leather/Wax Canvas sewing
I need the least complicated machine so I would not choose the Janome due to the extra work without the “feed dog” should I begin quilting
Love juki
I have both a Gidget and Gidget II. But what size sewing mat should I have for them? My Juki TL fits on my Gidget II, but not sure which size mat to put under it!
Is the brother pqq. 1500 still available?
I love Janome, but not being able to lower the feed dogs for free motion work is a deal breaker. The Brother seems the best, but they all have their shining traits.
Haruka, easy peasy and I love it😊 Although, why isn’t it included
Heck I am watching the rerun and I sure would like to win something.
Congrats SMP for your 100th show 🎉🎉 can’t wait to celebrate 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very informative show. I have my eye on an Alna do you have any?
Are bobbins size larger the average domestics? On each machine?
The brother pq 1500 sl is discontinued. Brother brought out a more expensive model to replace it. Very disappointed.
Did I miss the showing of the baby lock??😢
Great deals
I’m going to try getting that Gidget 2
Is the 2010 better than the 2018 haruka or why not reviewed when newer?
My pick is the first juju in the demo.
Hello how can I buy your sewing machine please i live in Mauritius island what must i do please i am a dress maker that will help me so much??
watched the show for comparisons. I just caught that the Brother has a smaller space to sew but it has that pen feed dog advantage too. Am still leaning towards the Juki because of size and speed control. Decisions. Wish I had longer to decide!
I definitely need a machine that has the extra bobbin winder
I truly wish that the straight stitch came with a start stop button.
As someone who has absolutely nnnnnooo quilting experience….zero‼️🤣I really don’t know how to choose a great starter machine 🤦🏽♀️🙃🤷🏽♀️
Try to choose based on what you would like to create and what you want to do in the near future.I make all kinds of things but I also started creating handbags using faux leather and leather. I have a Janome 1600pDB and could not be happier! This is an awesome machine.
Watched this bc it had Brother, but she didn’t even sew with it. Was also interested in learning about baby lock but didn’t tell us anything about it.
I have the haruka can you review it please
Where is it from?
53:49 Janome
Is there a machine that Deb does not know about?
Spin
U made my machine look bad. WHY?
I’m trying to decide which machine I can afford
Where you going to put it @Bernadetteevans9388 ? I was a fab show and some new SMP Nation winning great prizes as well! Thanks, SMP!
