    Many people dont have this riding style. You can see where some guy rides a bike and just falls straight away.
    I've always had this body movement while riding cause it feels so natural to go with the bike and let it move under you.

      your right...hes short so he can get away with standing up around obstacles more so than taller riders can, plus his trials experience keeps his feet on the pegs when im using my big feet as counter weights as im more of an enduro rider that sits down alot...honestly if i stood straight up like this guy i couldnt reach my handle bars...always good to watch a pro ride and see how he does it and use what works for you

    • @eamh2002
      @eamh2002 10 років тому

      Yep, never take a style you see and try to do it the same forever. Try the style and modify it to your own needs and see if it's good :p

    "the drop off, humans have a fear of dropping of a 6 foot ledge" er yes it's called fear of ending up a paraplegic. The rider has serious talent and makes it all look too easy. Gonna try some of it though, start small and work up. Nice vid.

    What a great video. I am about to start training my 13yo son to ride off road and I'll use this vid as a guide. I really like how you break down each step with emphasis on energy loss, body postion etc...really well explained thank you.

    very usefull video. it would help even more if the techniques were shown in slow motion so you could study better whatvhappens exactly with suspension, position, .... it would also be good to know what you have to do with your clutch. but very good vid.

    Because enduro racing is normally 4hrs or more and there can be lots of very difficult obstacles during the race, so the more energy/strength you have, the better you will ride in general.. this is why it's so important to save energy so you can be faster and safer everywhere.

    Great video, guys . . . especially like the preload principle and the effect of burning unnecessary calories through incorrect technique. I used to think that "fun" was defined by how fast you can go, but I can't wait to try these low-speed manoeuvres!

  • @RickyNelson0
    @RickyNelson0 11 років тому

    Great tips, much of it is common sense and came naturally when confronting certain obstacles. However I do see a lot of guys out there that could definitely benefit from watching this video. Even if all you do is trail ride, it's definitely helpful info.

    • @100GTAGUY

    I'm only half-way so far, but I love what I'm seeing. Thanks for posting!
    On the log or slab jumps (specifically 22:27 ), I've never noticed (in other random videos) how the compression of the front fork forces the rear wheel harder into the ground. Much easier to understand the forces involved. I suppose once the rear wheel hits the obstacle, the bike is near-vertical and just pivots over the top...

    i have crm 250 i am very happy because in my age (22) at least bought that. I don't race only for fun and for the beginning i think its excelent. This is my opinion. You will say the last word. The budget high or low its up to you for what use you want the bike thats the problem. I drove crm and exc big diference but i can afford only crm both 250. I hope some1 else add more to help you choose.

    good stuff. it wood have been nice to hear the engine in the last pivot move when he was feathering the clutch instead of the typical end of a movie instrumental. as to get a better idea. in technical stuff listening to the performance is just as important as watching it done,real fkn nice tho!!!
